Depends on how much weed cutting needs to be done. It takes me around 3 days to cut the grass that grows around trees in my orchard with a brush cutter. It’s tiring and scary work as one slip can damage or kill a tree. We are thinking of getting one of these disk cutters as we have a decent tractor with a loader and could mount the cutter on the loader up front and put a mower on the back of the tractor. This would allow cutting the grass between each row of trees while grass is cut between and around each tree. The more I think about it, the more I want this mower.

The Rotary Mulcher RM 232 costs 14,080 € without VAT. This is only for the attachment tool. You will either need a boom mower arm or excavator to mount it on.

Hi, Thank you for an excellent question. We do not experience that our Rotary Mulcher RM 232 throws the cut-off pieces to the sides like a flail hedge cutter does. The Rotary Mulcher RM 232 has a better finish as the material is shredded into tiny pieces that can be left on the ground for decay. You are limited in terms of branch thickness. The maximum capacity is branches with a diameter of 4 cm.
