We always have a choice, and the worst wast engaging in gambling, having false hope, losing our real identity in life. The problem is not in gambling its in ourselves, we have been played, we are the game.

Good on you mate. I’ve been through the same. Problem. I. Would drink beer as well. They went hand in hand. What I do now. Is stay away from those places that have all the evils. Pubs and clubs. No one there misses you. And you don’t miss anyone. It’s the best thing. I’ve done. As you know. Understanding. This addiction and getting ur head around is the answer a bit like knowing ur enemy. And. Knowing. How to defeat it. Thanx for video made a lot of sense to me.

Society won't allow it but the cure for gambling addiction is electro-shock therapy.

Gambling is a very serious problem if you lose. It can be very costly so just try to win.

For a recovered gambling addict like myself, I think it is absolutely toxic how gambling is associated with every single thing for the AFL. Like you said, they have social change things at quarter time like recycling, but they let gambling advertisements destroy our future generation of kids.

Great share friend! I feel that people also gamble to escape horrible things that has happened to them or the stress of everyday life. You get in place where you feel exited and the high of almost winning of course no different than taking a drug. Once you experience it you think there’s no better feeling and crazy the feeling once again. Gambling is a silent addictive drug that will poison not only you but your love ones.

hey brother, i was once in a situation like yours.. i found the best way to overcome gambling is reading the bible and praying everyday and memorising some scripture. i used to gamble my pay every week and tell the mrs that some payment came out of my account and used to lie to her every week. it was a tough time so we ended up losing everything due to gambling. now by the grace of God we are fine and I've stopped gambling well not really but I've chosen a few games that take abit of skill to play like poker. and always take what your gonna lose and never your whole bankroll. But don't feel alone! My battle was with cigarettes. I started at age 16 and by the time I was 31 I had quit and restarted smoking 5 or 6 times. I disliked how I was unable to save money and often felt winded from walking up the stairs. One day I decided that enough was enough. I quit soon thereafter. I've been 13 years without a butt and run regularly.

All these comments below don’t know how it is. I am now 34 and been gambling since 17 but not as bad as I used to. Still do though. What slows me down and keeps it responsible is when you think you in a shitty place gambling can put you in a new level of shitty place there is always an extra level of shitty place. I also gamstopped myself which stops me playing online

After watching a few of these gambling addiction videos, I feel like I never want to step inside a casino again. I'm not a gambler and have never had a gambling problem, but casinos appear to have this beautiful facade, but behind it is misery, manipulation, and addiction. When I'm in a casino, I marvel at how many willingly sit and gamble on the slot machines. Today I learned a term called "rent seeking" and casinos by their very nature fit the definition.

Don't give up..try baccarat.1,1,2,3,5 5,7,10..get 1 unit, than another one,use that to get 2 etc.if it misses, start again.get to 10, repeat with 10s.
