Hello and thanks for visiting my channel. Here I will be sharing videos of my art process and my thoughts on it. I think, there is never a step-by-step approach to creating art but there are definitely some rules and techniques that I would love to share with you.

I wanted to share with you my watercolor calendar for 2023. This calendar features 12 of my original paintings. These paintings are inspired by the beautiful sceneries at Victoria’s parks and gardens. Most of these watercolors were completed outdoors, directly on location and reflect my immediate impression of the scene. The calendar was designed by me and printed locally here in Victoria.

Clouds and sky with watercolor - Painting wet in wet - Relaxing speedpaint
มุมมอง 52K3 ปีที่แล้ว
How to paint watercolor clouds. In this video, I am sharing how I created this sky painting. I find that to paint a dramatic sky with lots of clouds the easiest method is to wet the paper on both sides. This way, the paper stays wet for a really long time and allows you to work on the clouds for at least half-hour. It is very important to use 100% cotton paper. Other kinds of paper will get dry...

Sehr, sehr schön !
❤❤❤❤❤LOVELY !!!!
Excellent. I’m really impressed.
Muy lindos efectos hiciste!!!🙋♂️🇦🇷
Love this painting and your color choices.
It's great that this is on cold press paper, impressive
Very practical tips! Thank you. Your plein air paintings in the sketchbook look beautiful!
@@jaclee6 thanks 😊
did you use some masking fluid at the right upper portion where there is a wisp of white cloud?
@@jsswan1 no I didn't. The paper was just drier there, so it left a harder edge
È veramente molto bello
Very helpful advice! I have a tendency to over pack, so thank you for showing me the calmness of just taking essentials.
Same! Just thinking about packing makes me not want to go plein-airing sometimes so even a sketchbook and a pencil is enough sometimes:)
Beautiful !! And thank you to explain your process I think that can really help. I will try this ❤
Brilliant!
Magnifique!!!! Mais un peu rapide!
Amazing 🎉
so well explained and helpful!!
wow..I adore your paintings, your process etc..new subscriber here..I hope u continue to do more videos...I am very new at plein air and want to learn more..I would be so happy if I could paint like you ! for me its art therapy..can u do some real time videos ? I'd love to know your bio too..thanks so much!!
Thanks so much! I'm planning to do more real time videos in the future but I currently hit pause because of studying art full time...my bio is not very extensive, I mostly studied watercolor by myself online through workshops and TH-cam. I'm currently studying at an atelier in New York
I'm inspired to give plein-air a try!
Wow your flipping amazing
Incredible ❤❤❤
Wonderful painting!!
Your sky looks so amazing!!! The rest, too but the sky really stands out!
Fabulous!!!!!!!❣️
Nah I would have painted that first one especially with watercolor I literally might just use this video as reference and paint it myself lol. Great video thanks for posting
After trying four or five different times to paint along with this tutorial I've come to realize that these kind of tutorials are not meant to help anyone learn to paint they are simply made to show off skill
@larryhuffine2814 I agree that they are good enough to brag, but don’t get frustrated. Find your own path with this. Slow the video down if you can. The wheel in the upper right should help. Try again. I believe in you.
Чудесно!Небо живописнее оригинала,как в импрессионизме!Мне кажется,что и для берега можно уразнообразить красок?Для уравновешивания палитры.Но это субьективное мнение.
Beautiful! Definable NOT for a beginner like myself😁
Thank you for that video. You are wonderful artist with excellent grasp of watercolor concepts. I think you will have a great career as a painter.
Thanks!
Beautiful and very well done! Thank you for sharing! ❤👍🏼

Lovely work
Amazing channel
Absolutely love that painting. Please continue!!
So beautiful ❤️
Wow, your clouds look more beautiful than the photo! I want to know if the paint gets lighter because it dries? At 3:14, the clouds color is lighter after that point. Do you do anything else except for letting the sky dry to get the lighter effect? Thank you.
Thank you! Yes, it does get lighter as it dries.
Beautiful!!
Awesome waterfall painting!
Thank you!!
Muy buen trabajo, me encantó, felicitaciones 👌!!!!!!👏👏👏
👍💕
Excellent. Whether used masking fluids for white foam
Maybe some old barns.
❤❤❤❤ love it!
