@@johann8686 thank you for replying! I got a capita kazu!! and I love it! unfortunately I dinged my nose riding trees yesterday and was looking if it can be fixable! but yea good to know! keep shredding dude! I have the same mercury as well and love that board too

@@mackybernardo9390 pretty sure they can fix the nose, but you should do it quick before any moisture can get into the boad! what place are you riding at?

legs werent ready for a jump this size and the speed i was hitting it at...was the 3rd day on the board last season

Moin Marcin, ich fahre seit fast 10 Jahren Rome Katanas und ich mag die Bindung sehr! Leider ist mir meine neue Katana relativ schnell kaputt gegangen, Material fehler...und schrauben haben sich auch ein paar mal gelöst. Rome support war echt langsam und ich musste mir dadurch immer wieder Bindungen ausleiehen was echt nervt wenn mann eine 400 Euro Bindung erst gekauft hat. Die Nitro Team Pro Bindung bin ich nur ein paar Tage gefahren, habe mich aber direkt sehr wohl gefühlt und wie du im video siehst direkt vollgas über alles gefahren:) Katana ist deutlich steifer und viel verstellbarer, also zum aggressiveren Fahren(Carven/Freeride etc würde ich die Katana bevorzugen. Zum Park fahren und Piste cruisen ist die Nitro Team Bindung der hammr, geht aber bestimmt auch für Carven und Freeride. Hoffe das hilft!

Ich gehe Richtung Katana. Welche Große hast du ? Ich habe Schuhe 43.5 und bin zwischen M/L und L/XL.

well its a video on a different binding:D try pulling up the footbed on the heelpart, if that doesnt work try sliding it forward or backwards! I am sure you will figure it out mate

Interesting take! in my opinion my upper body was already opened up on the takeoff and so i was front heavy in the air, i even managed to straighten out the board for the landing but caught a edge immediatly... conclusion: take off wasnt fine!

Jo Brian, the last time i rode a Burton custom is 15 years ago so i cant really say compare the two. What is the custom like?

@@johann8686 oh nice work Johann. I’ve only got words of encouragement. Respect for your enthusiasm. yeah bro. Skier when I was little, then I converted to the dark slide as the skiers say. I’ve been boarding since i was about 28 I think and I’m 49 now. Every conservative season until I thought I could just travel overseas in the off seasons. I only have Australia to deal with. All though, I’ve been New Zealand, Canada whistler n blackcomb twice and about five resorts in Breckenridge. Up until Covid hit the first time round. Then the second wave of Covid then the third, so I still haven’t been since. Sorry for the long reply dribble. But anyway my friend, please keep up the good work and be as careful as you can with maximum fun. Know your limits, then push it a little at a time. Respect 🫡 to you brother

@@johann8686 I have to agree. After my late start on a board and 3 days of getting the basics down, bang, I was addicted. I wanted to quit my job and work in a resort or become an instructor. Although I’ve taught my girlfriend, daughter, 3 hotties I met in New Zealand b4 the Missus, and 9 of my friends for free lol. What’s your favourite location.

@@chrislines3276 Love to hear it:) i worked a couple years as a snowbaord instructor in the black forest. But my own time on the Mountain and my progression took a hit in those years. Since i stopped teaching i progressed alot and still teach my friends for free:) Working part time as a Ranger and snowboarding as much as possible is the sweet spot! I mostly ride in the alps ( berner Oberland) since i have a season pass! I snowboarded in Colorado before and really wonna travel the world as a Ranger and Snowboard all over the globe! what about you chris?

yes sir! the knees do minimal work here, need to work on posture with the back 1 and keeping the head up while extending the front Arm:) thats whats great about snowboarding, always something to work on! where do you shred?

@@johann8686 well you already have fs 3 on a jump it is basically the same but faster you just have to lunch your shoulders lock your core you will see I am sure you can learn it in less than 5 tries

The Katana is alot stiffer and the straps and ratches are better quality for sure. Whats also very different is that you can adjust how high up the main strap is on your foot on the katana which helps alot with aggressive tow edge riding! For park riding the Nitro team pro felt pretty good, I still prefer the feel of the katanas since i am used to them. Having said that they broke after just 1 year in a way that you cant use them anymore and Rome support doesnt respond at all...................and i have thrown down harder than ever with the Nitro team pro so yeah
