@badspacewolve13 The double Warden build I have a list that used 2 as well. Just for some quick changes without switching a bunch of things since I do like the core of the list. I would recommend the Adamantine Talisman on the Bladechampion he just becomes such a weapon! If you have 3 bikes, I'd switch those with the Guard at the same price. With a bit more detachment support. Use the Hurricane bolters to get some good anti-horde/anti-infantry shooting You may even want to drop the guard for a Callidus and 2 witchseeker units for scoring. I'd probably do that actually or just 3 witchseekers 1 Prosecutor and the Honored Fallen enhancement on the Galatus have it hang out with some Wardens to give re-roll hits of 1

@@HubtownHammer I got bike's I can swap for it I got to still build the six I have with hurricanes anyway, I was looking at the S 13 and D6+² for the Achilles but blade champion would be nasty as well

@badspacewolve13 Now that i think about it some scoring units like the Callidus Assassin, Witchseekers and Prosecutors would be better fit with those Guard points.

You would hate the Venerable Dreadnought unless you brought some shooting. They stand back up at end of phase. You charge one with eightbound/exalted eightbound. I use fight on death. You kill it, I punch out a few Eightbound on death. Stand back up on 2+ then charge your eightbound on my turn kill the rest. Unless you used the +1 to wound strat anything under str. 9 would be wounding the Galatus Dreadnoughts on 6"s. Lethal Hits Blessing would help though

@reinheart14121412 There's a bit less killing power with the Dreads, they're more focused on survivability. I'm kinda hoping that the -1 to hit gives a larger edge to the tankiness of the dreads tankier statline.

@@stevejennings483 I would toss in more Forgeworld Dreadnoughts. If none of those, the Vertus Praetors are pretty good in that detachment. They can use Unstoppable to pass through Terrain

There was the big swamp in the middle, but once the Knights and other models moved into it, they could shoot out or in. Didn't play every single ruin without windows in this game. It was just for fun

That is what I usually do if I only have enough Transport space for Vulkan's unit or the Aggressors. Without an Invulnerable and Movement 5, the Aggressors seem to get targeted over Vulkan more often than not. Having a Transport for the Aggressors will help keep them safe and a bit faster moving up the board.

@jonniecook2037 The D6+1 Dmg is what hurts the Achillus for me. It's too unreliable. The Telemon and Venerable have the exact same melee profile. Folger Pyles, the WC winning player, went 5-0 with a 3 Telemon and 3 Venerable list. Solar Spearhead is great for mid board control and denying points. We won't table our opponents, but it is hard to outscore Solar Spearhead I have been playing it like a points deny army with much better success than kill everything

Because lots of people play 1k games. If you can't build a list with Warpbane at 1k there is something wrong.

I try to stay positive even with the bad rolls. Make it entertaining even when things are going bad. Thanks for the advice. I'll make some tweaks take out some of the Anti-tank. Maybe a Fireknife for some medium Toughness targets.

@mjolnert4017 Agreed it can really slow the transport heavy list down having only 1 or maybe 2 vehicle exits out of your deployment. Then having to move around dense terrain all game

I wish I had more Infernus Marines. May have to get a few more. I like the idea of a Repulsor, more transport capacity. Rather, drive Adrax up the board than run him up the board. A Repulsor taxi is just what he needs.

It is probably because the Bolter Damage buff to some of the Space Marine units also the Sternguard buff. Throw in some characters that buff those certain marines even more. I would guess that is why Imperial Fists are being used. Get Assault and str 1 on all their guns since Firestorm Assault is not locked to torrent and melta

There is a big 35 min video out now. It's about 2 weeks old now, but it goes through all 4 Dreadnoughts in the Solar Spearhead detachment
