CoreXDIY : Large Format CoreXY Printer Test Print
This is a video showing my last printer design.
The print surface is about 350 x 800mm , it uses a Duet2 wifi + Duex5 board , has independant triple Z axis with auto leveling, featuring ballscrews with a custom decoupling system to limit Z wobbling.
The printer is theoretically capable of running at more than 1000mm/s at 10-15K accelerations, but right now I'm limited by the extrusion system (Plastic doesnt melt fast enough to cleanly reach those speeds, even with the volcano head). Printer also features input shaping through the help of an accelerometer sensor.
Print quality is very decent already, but hopefully will be improved in the future with an enclosure around the printer.

The BOx: Large 3D Printer Fitted With a 0.4mm Nozzle
มุมมอง 3252 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a little tour of my DIY 3D printer while it's doing its thing. It is fitted with a 0.4mm nozzle and is capable of printing with a comparable quality you'd expect from a prusa, creality and whatnot. The build thread is available here for those who want to know more about it: forum.v1engineering.com/t/mpcnc-made-in-china-new-build/19393/507 Cheers!
BOx Giant Printer New Print Head First test

BOx DIY Giant 3D Printer: X Axis Top Speed and Acceleration Test
มุมมอง 1533 ปีที่แล้ว
A small test of the X axis acceleration and speed in order to see the limits before the printer starts skipping steps. Here the top speed was 300mm/s and 3000mm/s2 of acceleration, the printer still move happily without any step loss! Did you reduced puls width? For klipper and marlin it may help. I heard 150000 pulses in marlin. And in klipper i double or trippled the nano seconds

      Hi mate, thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately yeah I tried that before even shooting this video. Never got these things to work fine, I'm back with regulars steppers now. May give them another chance later if there's a new firmware release someday.

    • @OrgathmTech
      @OrgathmTech 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@duinishuodedui4999 unfortunely, a simple firmware update is not same as 42c model. this 42c get rid of this old alegro drivers. I am struggeling with layer shifts, i have had never before. Lol. Maybe i have to increase motor mA. Some people reported that they have doubled the normal mAh. For example 800mA to 1600mA. Maybe there is a bug or we do not understand why in hell we have to set double the mA. I think revision 42d in future, will be the real release. Would be nice to have the serial communication to mainboard, like spi/uart driver do. The possibility is inbuild. The board supports uart communication. But this is not connected and useless for klipper/marlin. Hopefully next hardware revision can replace a 2209. This salmon skin thing, what users reported, may fixed. A liitle software magic can fix this salmon skin. I think you better sell the 42b, or use it for other motorized projects.

    I had a lot of issues with these too. I have 3 S42B 2.0's that I used in a delta that produced horrible motion. As it turns out, all versions have GARBAGE firmware, BTT spent very little time developing these units. Thankfully they are open source, and there is a Github project to fix the issues and make them useable. I'd recommend following this as they will probably have a release soon. github.com/CAP1Sup/Intellistep
