I’m very sorry for your issues. Not to belittle that, did you have the head to the light screwed all the way on? Genuinely, not trying to be a douche. I had that happen to mine, the head was loose, and for some reason it made the light turn on. As soon as I tightened the head all the way down, perfectly fine. I’m not defending them or saying that’s normal, but it is what happened.

I really appreciate that, thank you! Yeah, it makes a lot of sense. Carbon lock is certainly a potential issue but the entire base of the suppressor has flats so you can get a wrench on it and crank it off.

I think it is. It’s so much more breathable and your head doesn’t get nearly so hot and sweaty. It’s more comfortable in general.

So no, I didn’t put every detail in the maximum of 60 second video:) That particular magazine has been under compression since the macro line came out because I carry it everyday and I’ve shot thousands of rounds through it, heck I cleaned it up for that video and all the wear and tear and rust spots that I’ve removed are still visible. That is why I’m asking the question, it’s had a ton of wear and I still cant load it reliably on a full mag. Don’t be a douche bud:) k, have a great day!

I haven’t had any issues. I’ve actually had better performance from them than Glock OEM mags. But there seems to be a larger discrepancy with them working across guns than Glock mags.

So you’re partially right in calling me out. I shouldn’t actually call it the 600 tube, it is a 6 tube. There is no such thing as a 640 tube. I’ll include a link, I want you to scheme to the user manual button and click on it. In all of their user manuals for these lights, they include how the lights are named. Each number represents something about the light. In this case, the 6 is the tube, the 4 is the mount and the 0 is the tail cap. That is what I try to explain but don’t do a great job at in the video. I call it the 600 tube because the 6 is in the hundreds place #MATHS lol. But no, technically there isn’t anything called a 600 tube but there also isn’t anything called a 640 tube.

@@DigitalArmory_ Let me clarify. The number 40 is designating the mounting. The m600 has traditional mounting. The m640 has the pro style mounting. What I should’ve said was the DF body is not the same as the standard 600 body. In fact, the DF head will not fit on the normal 600 body, or even the 640. It only fits on the DF body. Same thing if you want to use an IR head. They won’t fit on the DF body. So it is not just the 600 body with a DF head. Understand what im saying?

For this one, it was about 6 months. However, I got it through a traditional trust. At the time of purchase, i was given an estimate of about 250 days, so a little over 8 months. The individual time when I got it was an estimated 4 days and a ton of people were getting them that fast.

I picked mine up today. I was approved in 4 business days. Applied as an individual.

@@DigitalArmory_yeah, I’m still waiting on mine after 4 months, but my last can took 4 months and 3 days so if it takes 6 months for this I’m fine. I bought the hux .22 can 3 weeks ago and did it alone and it was approved in 12 days. No more trusts for me lol. Besides, if my family wants it they can always do the paperwork themselves. People act like it’s gone once you die.

That’s a very general statement. Your guns may not like them but they certainly don’t suck. I’ve shot thousands of rounds through mine and they work very well! I’ve had less issues with them than oem mags and other brands of mags. So clearly, my guns seem to like them and not others.

@@DigitalArmory_ Pmags are good to go in terms of rifle magazines. but for pistols, pmag falls short in terms of performance.

I have had the exact same performance out of pmags as I have with oem Glock mags…. Your guns don’t like them.. believe it or not, there are guns that don’t cycle properly with their mags in general.. why do you think so many companies make mags? Not all guns work with all the same parts and accessories.

No, they have different attachment points and I guess different springs, I haven’t actually tried swapping springs.

So that’s been speculated but neither company has confirmed or denied it, at least as far as I’ve seen. I also know AAC isn’t really opening up much about what exactly is being done in house or not.

PSA has confirmed that it is in fact a Hornady bullet. Which one is not clear or if it’s even offered anywhere outside of this ammo.

Well AAC ammo is typically just a bullet from another manufacturer but I believe they got Hornady to help them with the ammo process and use their bullets. Most of the aac stuff is Hornady bullets such as all the pistol xtp loads. Just makes sense that they would do the same for the rifles. But PSA is local to me and I can confirm that it is Hornady bullets but not sure which bullet they use as far as sst or eld.

​@@DigitalArmory_I dug a little more and found that they told one guy that they source the materials and assemble it here, but they use zeiss glass that they cut here. Never heard anyone complain about german glass though.

By size, I’m guessing you mean height? For my neck length, height, and goofy egg shaped head, the 2.26 from unity is my preferred height. Absolute cowitness and lower third are too low and then the 2.91 from gbrs are super tall and somewhat uncomfortable but I also haven’t used those too much. Now leaps from scalarworks are nice too, I’ve used the 1.93 risers and those are nice, I just prefer the unity for my body type better. Unfortunately, it’s more about your height, neck length, and head shape. But I think most people should be in the 1.57-2.26 range.

Are you referring to the irons on the unity riser? Or irons in addition to standard optic mounts?

​​@@DigitalArmory_ the irons in the unity riser, underneath the optic. Normally, you can look under your optic to see the sights. However, when using a magnifier like the eotech, the magnifier's windage and elevation turrets will block the rear sight, making it impossible to see the irons, even with the magnifier up. The same goes for the Vortex. With the Romeo magnifier, is there enough clearance to peek through the irons? I ask because the Romeo 3x doesn't appear to have any large turrets that would otherwise get in the way of the irons underneath the optic.

@ALee-if6ld okay cool, just wanting to confirm before I say something stupid. So I have not found any magnifier that allows you to see the irons on the mount while having the magnifier mounted. The only options I’ve found are take it off since it’s got a QD, or flip it up.

Due to the turrets of the eotechs, even flipped up, you can't see the irons because the magnifier is upside down and the turret blocks your ability to view the sights underneath the optic. If you can see the irons with a Romeo mounted in any way shape or form, that's a win for me.

@ALee-if6ld well dang, that freakin sucks. Yes, at least with the Juliet 5 (I don’t know about the other ones) I can see the irons with the Juliet flipped up. But, Juliet and eotechs use the two different mounts that unity make, so you would need a new mount (I believe)

Don’t ask me why, but the slide is the compact X slide. When it is put on a full size - s frame, it’s called an SX. It’s a little weird.

Compact x slide on compact frame =19L/49 full size frame =47

That is the Palmetto State Armory ECC slide cut for an RMR. The optic is the Holosun HS507C X2.

So Magpul makes a ton of pmags. For pistols, they make pmags that fit Glock 19, 17 & 26. So guns that use Glock mags for those can run them. Shield arms wouldn’t work because I believe they only deal with Glock 43, 43X, & 48. If strike industries or Train with purpose do anything Glock 19 or 17 related, you can use pmags. They are also doing pmags for sig P320/M17/M18. And if you’re referring to any pcc or rifle, yeah there is probably a pmag that fits it.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’m loving it. I also upgraded from a 5. The glass is much more clear and I prefer having the lenses cap and hex cap options. Plus, don’t get that weird dot blur when I use a magnifier, at least with the Juliet 5.

I can’t, in good conscience, recommend adding a plate. Yes, it’s a closed emitter but adding a plate is another point t of failure. If you were putting it on a Glock MOS, I would say go for it since it already requires a plate. I know some people swear by the EPS though so if you get it, just make sure to use plenty of loctite on the screws for the plate.

Guess there’s trade offs either open emitter with dust and shit or closed with plate.

@KsooTheTH-camr oh gotcha. It’s the 4.5” barreled slide on the full size frame, so it hangs off the frame a little bit.

@@DigitalArmory_ I’m guessing that the dimensions of the compact x slide which is a long slide if you put it on the compact frame you get a 19L/49 or 47 on full size frame

@KsooTheTH-camr exactly. The slide I have is the compact x. When on a full size frame, they just call it the SX. So the only difference between what you are talking about and what’s in the video is the slightly shorter frame that has a minimum of 15 rounds vs a minimum of 17 in the full size.

Some have found their rifles like the 75 GR Hornady projectiles better than AAC's 77 GR OTM projectiles and some found the opposite to be true. Unfortunately, I couldn’t tell you, my dagger likes both about the same so for me, pmags are fine. However, others have said their daggers hate pmags so for them, yes, it’s worth it. So it depends on your dagger.

Oh yeah! I have the comp slide with the 3.1 barrel and an xl slide with a 4.6 threaded barrel and they both fit on all frames.
