Does this company only sell farms, ag land & just land in period? We're from out of state looking for homes in WI for 2 years, no luck.

When big companies corner the market it gives them total control in the end. They have someone just like me that is also waiting until we kill off enough of the competition that we can now turn to the land owner and cut the payment by 75 percent because there is no one else left that wants it in this example. It’s all fair game. Land owners want more money just like companies look for ways to corner the market. Supply and demand. In the end the land owners do it to themselves. Saw this happen with the chicken farmers when they signed contracts with Tyson and Purdue. This is a business and you better treat it like that and get a damn lawyer because the other side has the best.

It’s for sure a wayyyy different land buying landscape than it was 25 years ago. It’s too bad because the market isn’t really very open to young folks looking to start a farm. Most buyers nowadays are high income or just investors. Too bad for blue collar America. Land access issues are a whole other topic but tied to these high land prices…

It easy to buy land but is it proper “investment advice”. Buy with a purpose but don’t buy it just pay tax on it every year without having a reason to own it. Kind of dumb advice imo maybe not dumb but incomplete.

There needs to be laws against megacorps, big banks, and other powerful, aristocratic entities, buying up all the farmland at inflated prices, to deliberately price actual farmers out of the market, reducing American farmers to Chinese peasants, having to give all their profits to aristocratics, who sit behind a desk, doing nothing.
