I was just messing with a CGA shader for DOSBox that uses the nearest CGA color from the current game frame. I've just changed the EGA filter colors that was already included with DOSBox. This wasn't meant to be a too serious video.

@@kurtis2221 It was good then, because it was very cheeky and professionally incorrect, even the cynical title was revealing. an inexperienced viewer will easily believe that this is what the games would have looked like. There are so many retro PC videos these days, but all of them respect the old things, and many people watch them. Either LGR or 8-bit guy, but I could list them. But I've never seen something like "look how bad the graphics on a CGA card are for a VGA game" and, as I said, it doesn't even look like that. Obviously you didn't make a mistake, only if there are enough deceptive videos like this, then a generation will grow up stupid. It's just a slip for you, but the reality for someone else.

It works with any grenade, except the satchel charges. Missiles also work for some reason even from the Hunter and Hydra.

It's possible, but it requires a lot of slicing and adding a ton of material copies, like in the video for the branches. When I made the house breakable it took a long time to add a new material for some reason.

I've never used it, since this is a dff extension data I don't think it's possible. It might work with GMax.

Some levels require you to find a hidden door or switch to reach the boss of that level. At first I only managed to complete the 1st level normally by accidentally finding out there's more than 1 stop in the subway and 3rd with cheats, because I didn't know that you can keep the keycards when you return to the station.

@@kurtis2221 And the Matrix? What are you supposed to do in it? I always found myself cluelessly wandering around, trying random stuff, but nothing ever seemed to happen. 😕

Press random switches and hope to find the sometimes not so obvious route to the symbol room. Using the map on that level is a must, because sometimes you have to move down or up for like a minute. I used a map editor to figure out what switch unlocks what door and where to place the symbol. There's also some hidden triggers that you need to find. I'm sure you've seen the matrix level's uncut walkthrough. If not you can find it on my channel.

@@kurtis2221 No, I haven't seen that walkthrough. I've completely forgotten about this game until today, when I saw this video here. Graphics is just as terrible as I now remember it. 🙂

Yep like the description said, you get busted even if you get knocked off the bike and off the bridge, you still get busted. Especially when you parachuted down to the ground

I know. The only way for me to win all 3 boss fights is to cheese the fight a little by moving back right after hitting and throwing every object that can be picked up. Even if you lose the fight you can still watch the good ending if you select the alternative ending at the mission screen.

The collision is always active in VC even when you're not in an interior. You can see it in the Love Fist interior. I've checked the stadium ring object and it has dummy objects for the flames.

1st download: Run the 2 exe files and change the path if you installed the game to a different place. 2nd download: Copy the pk3 file to the game's main folder. 3rd download: Copy the pk3 files to the game's main folder.

It's not my save game, but I've been suspicious of these stats since I've completed the game normally.

I use 1280x1024 (5:4) for these GTA games. Trails is only available for GTA 3 on PC. That effect also makes everything blurry.

@@kurtis2221 It is a available effect on the original PS2 version, so modding it into the PC game makes it look more original. I think R* could not port the FX to PC because different API or whatever. I love the blurry effect. Do you have silent patch installed or are you are purist who has the original VC Jewel Disc from his retailer installed? :)

I'm a purist with this. I only use the dinput8 dll file to fix the mouse. I've tried the silent patch, but after playing the game this long like this it just feels weird to have proper text shadows and other stuff. My first GTA was Vice City on PC. Also in GTA:SA I couldn't score in rhythm games because the timing was that off.

@@kurtis2221 Haha, I already knew this! :D I can tell, man! PURIST. Unpatched vice city with backface culling problems etc. Respect man, I could not do this. I got VC on Steam but it runs on my disc installation files. German censored version patched with silentpatch, Vice City trails and Widescreen fix. You can fix VC mouse issues by spamming ESC and moving the mouse. But I think the mouse axis are broken. X or Y is faster than the other. What do you mean with SA rythm game? Low Rider and Beach dance? Frame limiter should fix it. OR patching it. The timing is off in the xbox 360/ android mobile port. It has MANY mistakes. Broken port.

I know the ESC mouse fix, but it's better to use the dll. That mouse problem was fixable in Windows 7 by setting the Disable Visual Themes compatibility. Now in Windows 10 it's no longer available... Yeah I mean the Low Rider and Beach dance. For some random reason I tried it out with the silent patch. 5:4 and 25 FPS feels different than 30 FPS in that game.

I'm not really planning to play it when it releases. Maybe 1-2 year later after it gets patched. Since GTA 5 using trainers got really difficult, because the constant updates break it. At least GTA 4 only has 7 patches.
