Welcome to The Uncommon Magazine (Video, Radio, Etc)
a collaborative production program by The Uncommon Magazine that highlights the extraordinary in the mundane and the cinematic talents of New York City youth. In our generation, cameras are everywhere; almost every millennial has access to some kind of camera. But what we do with them stems from creativity and the willingness to expose the truth, no matter if it's subject is an uncommon story. That's our job, the filmmakers, to tell the truth, to tell stories.

The Rise & Impact of DIY-Bootleg Fashion
In todays world fashion seems to be a growing multi-cultural crossover in many different fields whether it's sports, music, or entertainment. With the growing impact of fashion over the years, consumers have been more geared towards adding their own "twist" with the influence of well established authentic designers & would be considered bootlegs to the masses. Today Bootlegs & DIY is heavily praised upon in modern culture. In this video we cover the past, present, and future of this culture as well as the pioneers & modern day visionaries of it.
