Just a short video of the new Peterbilt 567. I hauled two loads of dirt out to a job site in the middle of the woods. Had a very tight turn around and some decent drop offs. Enjoy!

8LL, but you are right. Autos are taking over everything. Eaton doesn’t even manufacture manual’s anymore.
Those are always the hardest dumps twists and turns and Level enough to raise the bed. Be careful!

as a hooklift trucker in the Netherlands. I must ask what a old dirty mess is that truck? I drive around with trash, coming and going in nasty places, sleeping 5 days a week in my truck. and yet my truck looks spotless inside.
Mack Granite, 2005? We are always off-road, in and out of quarry’s. I can clean the whole inside of the truck and it’ll only last 1-3 days and go back to looking like this. Dust gets in with the windows up or down.

I understood that you work for a company Truck. Here, most of the Trucks are owned by independant dudes who join an Equipment and Truck rental platform, they "only" take you 7% for their service ! We don't have concrete roads here, they are all made of asphalt, or bitumen surface coatings with 1 or more layers of gravel and emulsion bitumen usually made of 60% pure bitumen. I worked 45 yrs in the Construction field, vertical and horizontal Contructions ! Bonne journée Amigo ! Or rather "good night" I should say ! Here in the deep south of France near the Pyrenees, it's 10 o'clock !
Just in the past 10 years they have been making our major interstates out of a mix of asphalt and concrete. They will do 1-2 layers of asphalt with concrete on top of the asphalt, or do a layer of concrete, then asphalt with another top layer of concrete. To be honest, neither one of them hold up very long. The problem with concrete is that over time it cracks, breaks and shifts. Asphalt doesn’t hold up to harsh winters and forms pot holes. The roads just don’t hold up as well as they used too. I’m not sure why.
@@thatdumptruckdude Yes, your analysis is very correct. The major problems of a road are rain (mostly) and a wrong sizing of the structure (too thin or poor materials). And "cherry on the cake", today road construction companies (especially the big ones !) want to work faster and faster, always faster, with less and less really qualified crews ! Therefore, the job is often sloppy and poorly done, and they have to come back to fix the BS and the failures they have made ! That's the reality here buddy ! Exactly the same with single-family homes, 30 or 40 yrs ago the houses were strong and well made by skilled artisans, today they build BIG BS !!

What’s surprising to me is that this place where you’re being loaded, this sort of life-base with all these equipments and containers on the sides, does not appear to have received any crushed limestone to allow the trucks to come and go, or if it did, that wasn't enough for sure ! It is rather counter-productive from a planning and work organization point of view ! And by the way, what is this job site ? What do they do there that produces such amount of mud stuff, that they must evacuate ? Bonne journée Amigo !
It’s a drilling operation, they are drilling a hole thru a mountain basically for a gas line. The sludge is the stuff produced from drilling. They put boards down for the trucks to drive on but over time the mud works its way past the wood. They put stone down on top of the wood and remove as much mud as they can when they can. But we’ve had a lot of rain the past two weeks.

Intersting to see how it works up there in the US ! Here in france asphalt is called "enrobés", around 140° C loaded at the plant. The pavement machine is called a "finisher" and our 6x4 (13T to 15T load) or 8x4 (18T to 20T load) trucks are different, not "long nose" but "flat nose", not so stylish as yours ! I didn't recognize what kind of finisher model it was on the job site, but sure a damn fast one !
The paver was a Cat model. We were putting down a base “wedge” so it’s able to put it down pretty fast. The next day we would come back and put down the surface layer. Thanks for the comment! It’s nice to hear from the other side and how things are done.
