This happened to us here in Pennsylvania USA. We lived in our house for 10 years (current on rent) before our landlord sold it to a refining company. They just tore it down. It was sad. But we found a house and bought it and have been here 5 years now

As a Single male with a disability it took me 20 years to get a 1 bed council flat. And for that i had to be near dead with malnutrition on the streets before i was taken seriously.

I waited 25 YEARS for a one bed council flat - and im disabled. Yet "Mr Ali boom boom" from Nigeria gets a 4 bed house in a matter of weeks for his children and his wife. Talk about take the piss.

Given all the challenges of the past and current economies, why does the Royal Family think it's entitled to British tax payer support? Sell some of your massive land holdings! I don't care that you are "good for British tourism". Don't bother visiting Canada again. We don't want to pay for your "trip".

My Cousin almost was homeless 2 weeks ago but he did it to himself. He never learned financial responsibility, he never paid his bills on time or money he borrowed. The Bailiff almost came buy to kick him out and throw his stuff out. I helped him on a wing and a prayer and he was so grateful. He learned his lesson big time bad. The Landlord/Landlady was very patient with him but now he knows how to be more responsbile.

These people make me sick!! All these kids at the taxpayers expense, where are the fathers? Why do you have children in the first place before securing a home? Even birds on the wild build a nest before having offspring!!! Throwing away your sofa when you could easily have sold it on fb marketplace The list is endless Always someone else to blame in this country!!! We should get back to work or starve, enough of the having kids as a career move

This is happening across the entire United States.. greedy landlords sell property then they go back in fix the property back up ..and then rent the property back out for thousands of dollars.. greedy corporations are also buy the first thing they do is Jack up the lot rent so high you can't afford it.. you either move your trailer or sell it.. the average rent is so expensive nobody can't afford it.. unless you are a rich ass Elite person that's the whole idea.. you think the homeless situation as bad now it will get worse.. you will see more handicapped people homeless you will see more elderly people homeless.. unfortunately once you become homeless if you do not hide yourself you will come up missing permanently.. thousands of homeless people are coming up missing right now as I speak.. never to be seen again.. Having been in this situation last year, we were living in a b & b for 6 weeks. Then temp accommodation for 6 weeks. Many people asked how we coped, tbh, my children kept me going, & also knowing there's people worse off than us, people in war zones, fleeing for their lives. We were always grateful to the council for helping us, & now we live in a council flat. Again, really grateful to the council
