Hi, I have experience only with Yokohama Geolandar GO15, they are all-season all-terrain tyres, but they are not equal to full-size winter tyres in winter. No A/T is quite suitable for mud. M/T tires are for mud. But they are not suitable for normal driving. Otherwise, I have to commend the Geolandar GO15... they're great tyres. Road, lighter terrain and snow are no problem. But for real snow it's good to be equipped with chains. I have videos of the GO15 in snow and mud on my channel here. I've had them on all CR-V's.

Jest wiele marek, które produkują poprzeczki do tego samochodu... Należy raczej zauważyć, że tak ciężki namiot nie jest tak naprawdę przeznaczony do tego samochodu. CRV 2 ma dynamiczne obciążenie dachu wynoszące tylko około 45 kg.

Thank you very much. Yes, that's right. When I was a kid, I had my grandfather who used to drive me to camps around our country in his old car and caravan. I have memories of that for a lifetime. Now I'm trying to make sure my son has the same experience again.

@@OutOfTheWay4x4 I had the same from my dad, and did the same for my daughter. She and her husband purchased a 2000 Coleman "Redwood" pop-up tent trailer about a year ago, and are about to head out on their first adventure with it. I've been teaching them both how to tow, and how to back it into parking spaces, and helping them do a few little modifications, like I had done to ours, when she was little. It's fun to see those memories moving forward for her!

​@@austinado16I googled Coleman Redwood. Looks nice - like a caravan. There used to be a tent trailer sold in this country - LETOV LK 6740. Looks comical today. Yes, these experiences can change kids' lives for the better.

Hi, this D2 has the original stock chassis. It helps a bit that the car is on tall 235/85 R16 tires. I may raise the chassis 2" later, but for now I need to invest in more important things to get this D2 in perfect condition. You can go off-road, but be careful not to wreck the car. Watch the chassis. Also, if you have the original plastic bumpers, make sure you don't crack them unnecessarily. Better to replace them later with steel strength bumpers. Just remember in the field that any damage costs a lot of money in repairs 😉 I want to make the car more expedition style and travel.

@@OutOfTheWay4x4 Thanks for that. Yes I just want to do a mild and gentle bit of off roading with the grand children, nothing too severe. I used to green lane a lot when I was living in a different area years ago where Ivknew all the tracks but that was with an old Landrover series 3, wasn’t sure how capable a standard D2 was until I saw your video. Now I know what it can cope with I can be a little more adventurous than I thought. I’m looking to join a local group and trust their knowledge as to which trails would be suitable for me plus there’ll be someone to help out if I bight off more than “Duke” can chew! ;-)

Oczywiście nie jest to pełnoprawne porównanie... Forester to SUV, a MB G-Class to koncept nawet wśród offroadów... Nie można porównywać tych dwóch samochodów. Wideo jest tylko demonstracją tego, co Forester może zrobić obok Klasy G. Oczywiście, gdyby Klasa G chciała, pozwoliłaby Foresterowi utonąć w błocie. Ale Forester to interesujący samochód. To rodzinny SUV, który ma doskonałe 4x4 S-AWD i downsizing. A ciężko znaleźć konkurencję wśród SUV-ów.

@@OutOfTheWay4x4 W manualu reduktor ma 2.0 bez turbo.Mój automat ma oprócz trybu Drive jeszcze opcje 3,2 i 1 biegowe oraz tryb power i hold czyli do ruszania z kopnego piachu i głębokiego śniegu to jest idpowiednik reduktora.
