The Spaced Out Cowboys, "Whip Me Up". Live at "The Fool's Party" in 19995.
Simply put, in my humble opinion the greatest live Scottish band that you have forgotten or might never have heard of. Pioneers who were way ahead of their time! If you don't get this, and your foot isn't tapping as you listen then I recommend that you check that you still have a pulse. A Guy Dadge original. Enjoy!

An original song about loss and redemption from that loss, written and performed by the Scottish singer/songwriter Donald Finlayson, AKA "The James Clan". Inspired by a radio commentary on a football match when a pundit commented that the referee was "playing by the rules of his own game". I just thought it was a brilliant idea. You never know where a song will come from. If you choose to watch...

I felt very helpless, over the last few days so I called upon my alter-ego, Mr Jimmy Jackson and we made this. He wrote and performed it, I filmed it, and while both of us admit that it might make no difference to world events as they unfold, and it could have been improved, we are both great believers in the "first take" of anything and just doing it made both of us feel better having made it....

This song was written in the Apple House in 2001, recorded at Homegrown Studio in 2003 and the video was filmed on and around the Lake of Menteith in 2012. At the time, the budget only allowed one day of filming and we didn't quite get the weather we wanted but as ever, we just had to make the best of it.

The James Clan paying (or playing) a tribute to "The Man!" Has anybody here seen (or listened to) Hank? As far as I am concerned, "If you don't like Hank Williams, you can kiss my ???!." The words in this song are so wonderfully "hopeless" or "despaired" and therefore so utterly beautiful. Even "Lovelorn and Lonesome" doesn't quite capture it. Check out Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris perform...

A rare glimpse of "Johnny Brogan's Soccer Cosmonauts" on the occasion of the very first match at Forthbank Stadium versus Clydebank F.C. on 24th April 1993. Despite defeat, they fittingly scored the first goal in the new stadium, courtesy of Tommy Tait and we were treated to one of the daftest (and fastest) red cards in football history.

What a legend
Eric loved jocky
He actually did. People get mistaken thinking eric and jocky hated each other when in reality they both were good friends off the board. Eric hated john lowe but not jocky hence why eric was at his funeral.
The most watchable player ever.

The professional darts circuit was chock full of fascinating characters in the '80's. Jocky Wilson, Eric Bristow, John Lowe, Bobby George, Cliff Lazarenko, Bob Anderson, Mike Gregory, Dave Whitcombe, Keith Deller, Leighton Rees, Alan Evans, Alan Glazier, Peter Locke, Steve Brennan, Ceri Morgan (with THAT throw!) Great times.

Eric was the best for a long time but in 1989 Jocky won the BDO and did it the hard way by beating three of the top four seeds including a win over Eric. That is quality.

we all loved Jocky back in the day, darts wouldnt have been darts without him. those of us darts and snooker fans in the 80's had it better than any before or since. RIP Jocky and Eric

Much missed Eric & Jocky, shame that they weren't at the recent seniors tournament. Would've been great to see em go at it one more time.
I always had a soft spot for jocky (john),and not because he's Scottish, but because he was such a gentle guy with his sad upbringing, the guy just melted my heart.R.I.P. John. Jocky Wilson.
