Using a "pull down" action with the Mosmatic instead of a sideways cleaning motion, I manage to reduce the strain on the lower back whilst at the same time bring the majority of the removed dirt down in the same action. This has the benefit not only of reducing strain but rinsing as I work. Again, less washing down at the end. Hope that helps.

    Why steam over just pressure washing it like ive seen in other videos?

    • @phexteriorcleaningservices
      @phexteriorcleaningservices 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sometimes a customer wants all of the white lichen removed from a roof not just the moss. To do this with cold water under pressure can unduly wear the grain off a tile. Using steam allows for 99% removal of white lichen without the undue wear on the tile. This is a choice the customer has. In my opinion, removing the moss is the main objective whilst maintaining the integrity of the tile. So customer choice. Hope that helps.

    • @phexteriorcleaningservices
      @phexteriorcleaningservices ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Robert. There is not a guide on this that I am aware of. If you watch the video where we scrape the roof and soft wash it as the tiles are delicate - hopefully it will come across that through experience and site surveys PRIOR to estimating, you can determine the best approach to a clean. The very latest video I put up about the PA Nozzle is an example of the site visit determining my approach. I could have scraped this roof as there wasn't much moss of it just lots of black and white algae. The neighbours had theirs down by someone else the year before and the white lichen was still abundant and distracting. Just knowing this tile is robust and not old - I was confident that the single PA nozzle would be the best approach. The customer gave me a five star review yesterday and was very happy that they don't have all the white lichen still on the roof. Sorry I have rambled on a bit. Hope it helps. Paul
