This is a gorgeous piece of art and I’m so sad that the audio quality isn’t better! 😭😭😭 Are there really no official versions of this exact version? The version you used for the cathedral video feels too peppy for such a serious moment, and the other version I could find changes all the good lyrics!! For the life of me, I can’t find the third version that people say exists. I’m new to the fandom, somebody help meee😭😭😭 Great art tho seriously

i know i am three years late but this is single handedly the best animatic ive seen for any musial ever. the way the warm colors contrast to the all black background and characters at first, but it slowly getting brighter and brighter as orpheus continues to sing, and even the little details like how Hades was drawn much more bigger in the beginning, but being reduced to orpheus's size at the end showing just how much the song had touched him that he veiws orpheus eye to eye, man to man, who both fell in love with a woman they would do anything for.

I am so late but this is so amazing there is a serious lack of ghd animatics and you are fantastic for making this

I got the collector's map before getting the deepnest grubs. Surprisingly the grubs are very difficult to get.

I saw Hadestown for the first time on Sunday night. This makes me feel the way I did the first time I heard Epic III all over again.

Mate, I just want to say: The song is beautiful, and it's one of my favourite songs, not only of Hadestown or of Musical Theatre, but in general. And the cathedral edit is just lovely, oh my word. But what I wanted to say most is this: Your artwork there tells the story so well, and it's truly beautiful. The animation style, I'm assuming it's digital art, is just absolutely beautiful. I cried while watching the video. Especially the moment at the end with Hades and Persephone in the garden, and then the hands of Hades and Persephone at the end.... oh my gosh mate. Bloody beautiful. Well done. Very well done.

Hey, I have a question!!! :) I am making a "Hadestown Animated" project of my own, starting with Epic III, and I wanted to ask if I could borrow two of your ideas (giving you credit of course!), because I think you wonderfully captured the way Orpheus' song reflected on the whole city and its people. Those two ideas are specifically: the symbolic sunrise over the city of Hadestown, and Orpheus being elevated on the pole from the ground along with Hades (just as the original Broadway scene setting of the circular turning floorboards). Cheers, and I'm waiting with anticipation for your reply!

Wow, this is beautiful! All of a sudden this came up in my youtube recommendations, maybe because I've been listening to the Hadestown soundtrack lol. Seriously though, you have a beautiful voice and you did a great job with the acoustics! It really does sound like it was recorded in a cathedral!
