Let's take a look at a modern Electric Mistress clone that gets very close to the classic David Gilmour sounds. This one nails every Pink Floyd Mistress sound, but more importantly, it helps you to sound like you, rather than someone else. Maxon OD808 - Review and Studio Demo! The Best Tubescreamer?
มุมมอง 6853 ปีที่แล้ว
Let's take a NSFW look at my favorite Tubescreamer thingy. Ok, so it's the only one I like at all. The rest of them only make rich dentist and awful Joe Bonamassa sounds. But this Tubescreamer, it's different! It screams! It tubes! And most importantly, it sound lively and delicious. #tubescreamer #ts9 #ibanez

Let's listen to the best modern chorus! #boss #ce2 #waza
I changed the speaker on mine for an alnico Jensen Blackbird 40, its suits perfect for this brownie. The custom Eminence is a little too much (101 dB) for me and weighs a ton!
Top-notch!! That looks and sounds great
I'm glad I found your video here. It's so instructional. Please my bass has for POTS and I need to wire them. Which configuration can I use. 1. One volume, one low, one mid and one high for the tones 2. Two volumes and two tone controls one for each volume I am using a500k for tone and b500 for volume and 47 for capacitor
great video. do you have a parts list please
Bro no offence i don't wanna come out strong but you've got ocd i hope you know that right.
You strip cloth push wire? Great video though. Used to live in Columbia a few years back, go cocks!
Is this loud enough for a live setting with a drummer?
I am so OCD about my wiring too!
I have 3 Teese wahs. Not a wah guy, but they are magic, musical, not harsh.
What is the electronic components .name please send me.Sir.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Sounds awful ☹️
Do you run the tone control up all the time?
Your tutorial gave me the courage to rewire my '65 Jazz Bass - and it sounds amazing! Thank You Thank You Thank You 🙏
what Capacitor did you use? 250 k or 500 k ?
I don't know anything about my Squier Jazz bass insides. I do want to upgrade the pots, jack and pickups. I was able to follow along the first part except I didn't understand soldering directly to the back of the pots, but I think I could do it. I was unclear on the bare wire you added, too. I was hoping for guidance when it came to the pickups, but you lost me! I saw 6 wires and wasn't sure what happen to them, which are "hot" or "leads" and which are not, and what to do. I actually ordered an Obsidian control harness plate with CTS pots and Switchcraft jack and quick connects, but I think I could do the soldering. My concern is now I will have 6 pickup wires and no clue which is which! Also how do I ground, and do I need to shield? I also need to get the pickups.......thanks for some guidance, though. I am curious how much you charge to do the harness and install new pickups though?
Thanks so much for this Zach / Strings Attached. I managed to rewire my own J bass copy with this guide, hugely helpful and I really appreciate it (although going to take me many attempts to make the wiring as neat as yours!)
Would this be OK for a at home amp for clean low volume Surf Guitar? I just ordered a Fender Reverb Reissue unit but have no amp yet. Thank You!!
Yes
@@okaytastic6691 Thank You!!
Enjoyed your video. I am going to attempt what you did. What kind of wire did you use for the hot leads and the grounds. Tried putting a pre wired Mojotone into my Squire vintage modified Jag bass SS I did not work so I like what you did. And yes the stock wiring is a rats nest.
Ok big question , the 2 grounds from the pickups can be bundled together the bridge grounded separately to a pot ??
control plate*
what type of capacitor do you use?
Trabaja con 473

Well done and tidy.
Finally, I learned how to check the wiring of a 4 string bass with 3knobs, and I like this guy coz he is wearing Casio F91 wristwatch 😎
Hi, very good work👍 thanks for teaching. May I know is any wire can use for the pot connection?
Where is your flux, my dude?! Also sweet jesus i come from the nerf modding hobby and some of your wire choices make me nauseous lol. Why not just mark all of the connextions on the ground wire circuit on an uncut line of wire, stip them at the marks, then solder at the exposed points?
It's so amazing how you never mention what wires go where, its soooo helpful and encouraging.
Bravo 🔥
Nice shot ! Thanks !! 👌
I have this pedal. It’s amazing. I’ve just picked up the mini too to make more space on my board. I don’t use the vibrato side and the switch and extra size isn’t needed
Sometimes when you lower guitar volume it lessens the intensity of the effect.
"Uniform domes of soder"🗽
Do you know of any website to buy that mesh-covered cable?
Amazon . Ebay
Literally every owner of the Squire CV Jazz Bass viewing this video...thanks for the detailed instructions!
hmm i love how it looks but the possibility of a pot going loose with a screw and lightly moving breaking the wiring worries me
Llano Estacado
This video inspired me to get my bass out and redo my shoddy soldering 🤣
I redid it very well actually. Well for me anyway
Hi Zach! ALL right? Please, Tell me if you factory this Control Plate for Sales?
DOD had a two stage phaser they branded the "201" that was good, but not as good as the 45. I have always like MXR pedals. Great bang for the buck.
Potenciómetros tipo A o B, 250kh o 500kh
I can't understand why it's called a picture wha? Anyone know?
it has a picture of mr. Teese from 2001 on the back plate. i think this is why
@@kylesmith5893 that sounds right, I so appreciate it!
Great
Bravo!! it helps a lot. Thank for sharing the idea..
Simply the best wha pedal in the market IMO
Hi, I have a J n D short scale jazz bass and wish to replace the pots and re wire it possibly with a jazz bass replacement wiring kit. Any thoughts as to type of posts and Cap? If anyone can suggest i would be grateful for advise, Thanks
Surprise surprise (for me at least). The brownface Princeton likes TS-style pedals much more than Klons. Very interesting.
This video helped a lot, thanks so much!
You did it on your bass? It reduce the noise or buzz?
I know this is a year old video, but there is a reason those are called pushback wires. You dont clip them, you just push the cloth back :)
thats what I thought during the whole video!
Lokasi servis nya ini di mana om 🙏
Thank you
