This is why old style building is better then modern it’s because this actually seams like he didn’t just search 5 TH-cam tutorials on how to build a house instead he actually put thought and time on his builds and use lots of creativity

I used to play in minecraft back in 2014,then 2017 i started playing it again using the mobile version,i used multiplayer master ,a whole place to make friends ,i prefered the classic multiplayer on pc ,but even on smartphone it was good,i made my own server thanks to mm and on my phone i still have the little world with all the houses and the feature of the other player ,it was good and i was left with the memory of those who joined me in my little server ,and those who followed me on pc and smartphone back in the day

i remember, i was playing on 1.8 with my friends recently, and it was surprisingly fun, new versions are just kinda not fun

idk, I'm playing the game when it felt fun, no when it didn't

The reason "alpha" servers use beta 1.0 or beta 1.1 is they have almost no gameplay changes from alpha 1.2.6 but several improvements to multiplayer.

Old Minecraft will always have a special place in my heart. I still love modern Minecraft, at least from a creative standpoint. I just miss the nostalgia of experiencing the glory of old genuine builds and players.

I LOVE the Nether Reactor Core. We need to bring reactors back, and expand them more. They're quite a fun way to bulk up your world's block count.

Everything seemed so simple and innocent about old Minecraft.

theres something about old minecraft that gives it a comfy feel. i notice its lacking in modern minecraft, and it might be because of growing up, but it still doesnt feel as limitless as it used to. old minecraft you could go in creative anytime, and hop between gamemodes, never getting bored. i notice once you get netherite armor youre like "now what?". i miss when people were social too....

ther was one server i joined back when minecraft first started up and it had a bunch of landmark monuments like statue of liberty and stuff, aswell as having like nationalities and stuff i wish i could go back to those days

I've been struggling to put my thoughts into a comment, but just to say something, these servers evoke a really odd feeling. Not unlike seeing a ruined civilization, but more like seeing a childhood. The people who made these probably were teenagers when these were made, but now they've all grown up and found responsibilities and forgot about this server, the server they spent so much time making, the server with so many memories, so much fun. What i feel is kind of an acceptance of depression, I guess: your younger years are fun, they make you into who you are, but eventually you have to let them go.

I miss being a kid just randomly joining SMP servers and making friends with complete randoms online and just having a time man, I remember I met these 4 other guys and we literally had no form of communication at all but we would all collectively hop on after school and we would set times by making a schedule via signs in game. Everyone stopped hopping on one by one until I did aswell, I remember checking it back 3 years ago when the server was still alive. Good times.

no matter how much crap they throw into the modern versions, the busy-ness of modern minecraft worlds/servers will never compare to that first few times loading into a simple quaint world back in these old days. i used to play on a server called Rivalcraft back in 2011/2012, it had such an amazing little community. like 20 people on at any given time, everyone knew each other, no grief protection but everyone respected each others property, it was peak, and i wish i didnt take it for granted

Even though I started playing Minecraft at like release 1.6 I randomly decided to try the 1.7.3 beta and have been hooked since! I find it more fun and more slow paced. Only mining when I want better tools or need to replace tools as I build more stuff. While in modern versions this doesn’t exist in a sense. And caving is much more scarier, having almost died to creepers and having some intense battles with skeletons due to the fact sprinting away or using a shield simply isn’t an option. Exploring caves is actually a terrifying experience compared to the modern versions. So yeah I legitimately find the beta is way better and this isn’t because of nostalgia since I didn’t play this version when it came out. Shows how much it’s held up! I recommend other people to give it a shot!
