Playing new minecraft makes me feel burnt out very fast. I played it today and wanted to build a simple starter house real fast to prepare to play with my friends later, but i ended up building one of those fancy aesthetic houses with bunch of details (cause these are the houses i keep seeing everywhere) and i didnt even enjoy the process cause i get overwhelmed by all the blocks/objects options AND the new music just annoys me (oh and the wanderimg trader wouldn't leave me alone and the boring looking terrain doesn't help neither). In my beta world however building feels like therapy

When I play my beta world i catch myself feeling a little uneasy every now n then because its just me, couple of animals and monsters in this world, and to suddenly see something different would make me have an actual heart attack, now in new minecraft i dont have this feeling at all cause i get bothered by wandering traders almost every day 🌚 Also, great video!

If they are abandoned then why are the physical servers still running? Who’s paying for it to run?

Imagine some ancient players went through all the troubles to build a diamond d*ck to worship in the server only for minecraft archeologists and historians to mine it for armors and tools

in the newer versions, c418's music is completely gone from the game and his name isn't in the credits. Just another example of Minecraft trying to erase its history. Jeb is the only person from the dev team back in its early years, but even he seems to be fine with the marketable, corporate thing that Minecraft has become nowadays. Mojang isn't indie anymore; it hasn't been for a long time, and it shows. Sure, there have been some good updates in recent years, but most updates are slow, often small, useless, or aim to fix problems that weren't there in the first place. The fans will always be better at giving us updates than Mojang at this point, let's be honest.

I know it's not old Minecraft, and it's been down for a long time now, but Team Extreme was the king of servers for me. It's what got me addicted to Minecraft.

Hey I’ve seen a couple of your videos and a question came to mind Why is your alpha world in 1.2.3 instead of 1.2.6? Is this just a weird choice of yours or did something change between those 3 versions?

I recently discovered, that I actually like the new updates more than the old versions, and the only reason I seem to like the old ones better is nostalgia. If you think about it, they fixed a lot of problems of the past, and added things to make it more interesting, that are mostly positive. I still can't not play on old versions from time to time. I am not a super veteran, as I started to play Minecraft only in beta 1.8, but the memories are there.

Theres just something about the old alpha and beta styles of building that is just so irresistibly beautiful. They feel like actual works of art as opposed to the common utilitarian bases, or the wildly extravagant base designs you see so much of today.

This video just made me wanna go back to the days where I’d just play Minecraft classic servers online and it was just magical

The atmosphere is there, I guess danger of night as well. But for me older versions always will be for nostalgia. I feel free in newer versions, I just doing my thing, exploring, building, experimenting with redstone instead of watching guides, transfering chunk from old MCPE with nether reactor, because I feel like it is cool. Lack of sprint would make game pretty boring and slow. I like to see how my world growth with the game itself, but one day I will launch oldest MCPE version to remember how it was... For Java I hopped in the game in version 1.9 and oldest I've ever played is 1.7.10, because mods back then wasn't porting on newer versions that fast, so for me nothing really changed between 1.9 and 1.20, only minor tweaks and features

Bugrock doesn't have ability to be downgraded to older versions, and we can only cry about it
