✨Creative adventures in journals ✨
I ecodyed for the first time! 🥳
In this video I show you the process and the results of my first ecodyeing experiment. I tell you all about my thoughts that kept me away from trying this technique for almost two years. In the end you will see all the beautiful results and you will know what supplies you need to get prints that really surprise you.
There are a lot of creators on social media who also share their beautiful ecodyeing results. But the latest video that I saw was from Claudia @euphemiasART . Her gorgeous papers finally motivated me to just do it and to overcome my doubts. I followed her instructions and added my own variations to this technique. Thank you, Claudia, for this final ignition!

Thank you so much!😊
I've been doing botanical printing (eco dyeing) for about 5 years now. Great first "dirty pot" result! Beautiful! I haven't used berries myself but they are a gorgeous addition. When I dye papers, I lay them between 2 floor tiles and clamp them together (paper sandwich)with heavy duty paper clips. Then submerge it in a roasting pan. This gives it close contact and also reduces the chances of damage. The leaves I have found make the best prints everytime are rose leaves, chestnut tree leaves, blackberry leaves, and my favorite Ravenswing ( or cow parsley).
Thank you for the tips concerning the leaves that you prefer!! I’ve seen the variation with the tiles but didn‘t do it because they would not have fit in my pot. But it is great way! 🍃🌸✨
I've never uttered so many 'Ooohs' and 'Aaahs' over one video, definitely something to try xxx
Awww, thank you so much! ✨🌸🍃
💗Herrlich... Liebe Grüße 💗Claudia
@@euphemiasART 😅🥰🌸Das freut mich!
