Definitely see where you are coming from, when it comes to the characters jjk has more that I like in general and none of them touch gojo for me. Freiren is so much different than jjk and that was such a breath of fresh air for me and I enjoyed every bit of the season. I definitely think it should have won anime of the year if all the eps came out last year but I feel like the public would not have voted for it over jjk lol

No, e3 with the initial b3 is standard nimzo-larsen theory. The London System is a completely different opening with d4, bf4 and nf3, c3 and nbd2. He is trying to show that the position arrived in the game would only be possible with first e3, to let the light squared bishop out, then e4 and d3 or vice versa.

This is a hyper modern queen side fianchetto type of opening, it looks nothing like the London. Also, there isn't mate in 2, it's white to move, and if it were black to move it still wouldn't be mate in 2 AND even if black got Rg6, Qh2#, that wouldn't be called a smother mate. Not to be mean, but it's impressive how many things you got wrong in 2 sentences.

Hmmm in the episode it wasn’t stated that he altered other moves, it specifically showed which moves got changed lol, but that’s interesting to think he changed more moves because it would make ayanokojis moves before that make more sense

Yes he changed more then one move and ayanokoji notices it ofc and understands what is happening. What i dont like about this tho is that the teacher in the light novel says that he made better moves then the computer (the chess engine) which is just impossible. You can be a smart as you like but there will be no human ever that outperforms a modern engine. This breaks the story in my opinion

@@pandorairq It depends on the depth, I've seen plenty of times the initial move a computer suggests isn't the best and then after deeper depth it decides on a better move. Even with depth there are some "magic lines" that stockfish has difficulty evaluating. I mean generally you're right, but I don't think that should break a story, especially if the character making the comment doesn't really understand how these things work.

In the novel it's stated that one command lasted 30 seconds to arrive Suzune's device, while the other commands lasted only about 10 seconds, the reason of that discrepancy is which that Ayanokouji's command was manipulated. Tsukishiro most likely altered only one Kiyotaka's move. Actually, that part of the chapter is very weird, there are two translations of the novel which contradicts each other, the anime coincided with one of them, so I prefer to believe in that translation which says Tsukishiro altered only one move, the animators and script writers are japanese, then they understand the novel waay better than us or the translators.

The light novel is way better then the anime. There everything fits together and the story is much deeper. So consider reading it if you didnt already
