Toller Beitrag. Das einfach mal teilen in a ga land ea. In den Übersetzer geben. Aber niemand will das wirklich wissen.
thanks
apparently Chronicles published a version that has been digitally repaired so the hieroglpyhs are more accurate
Christmas Carol is good and we can ignore the rest. You don't have to like every book an author writes just because they have become famous over time. Be picky and choosey. Then your little library will only have the best of what you like.
I just ordered this book for my wife. After watching "The Man Who Invented Christmas" my wife remarked how she would like to read the book and I thought it would be cool to get an original but expensive. When I looked on Amazon I was happy to find this version. I grew up watching the George C. Scott version and a Mickey's Christmas Carol.
This video, I paused so very much in order to assess the content here the pause key has become a kind of crutch but all the words I read were very dear The quality I saw has pleased my eye This is a book I think that I might buy
I have seen precious little of the Alien series, but I absolutely love the art style inspired by H.R. Giger, who is one of my favorite artists. This book does a great job of capturing his unique depiction of the human condition, and I absolutely love book ASMR. Thanks for sharing this with us.
It’s cool you enjoy Giger’s work as well! He was one of a kind.
Very cool, thank you🥱One nation under a groove🏵
Very cool, thank you🥱One nation under a groove🏵
Very interesting. Reminds me of Jung's “Red Book” and “Book of Kells” (I'm sure there others similar). Thank you👍
i wish you discussed it too much ^-^ would love to listen your opinion.
Maybe I'll make a future video dedicated to discussing it - this was mostly just a look at the art but I do have some theories I'd love to share 🤓
I am not a fan of “Alien”, but as an “asmr” it works exemplary. Thank you👍
Hi friends! I'm super excited to share this book with you, as a massive fan of the Alien franchise I have a lot of thoughts, opinions and theories on the subject but I'd love to hear yours! Share some of your favourite moments or theories and let me know what you think. Thank you all for your support! ❤️
As a fan of the franchise, have you played Alien Isolation? It's so scary!
Oh yes I have a love hate relationship with that game haha
Looks like a good book, currently waiting for it to be delivered 🤓
Hope you enjoy it!
@libraryofalexandria_ I received it 3 weeks ago, It's fantastic, exactly as shown in your video. as a person who speaks English as a second language, It is kinda hard to understand😅 but this is what I want to CHALLENGE myself. I learned a lot of new-advanced vocabulary, phrases and idioms. Thanks a lot. If you have some advice on how to learn the new vocabulary effectively, I'll be thankful.
someone put their drink on your book??!! How can someone be this careless to do that to a book?!😢😢😢
A blasphemous act indeed haha. It was an honest mistake, not everyone is as passionate about books as we are 🤓🤷♀️
Thanks!
hi
hi
What is the size of the print? Size 9?
I would guess this book was written by S S A A T T A A N N...
I do wonder if the 'code' is simpler than anyone has expected. Could just be like shorthand - no vowels, but then, I'm no codebreaker, lol. Thank you. Very interesting! My theory is it's a witchcraft alchemy book of some kind; the type that would have had the author burned at the stake. Spells, recipes and whatnot that the writer had concluded had a lot of power.. if you believe in that sort of thing...that explains the required secrecy when handed down and the 'coding' of the information..
I like your theory and you could be right! Maybe one day we'll find out 🤞
It actually makes alot of sence...
"The book lays quite nicelty" you say, but your own video shows exactly the opposite, the book spine is very rigid and hard to keep open.
The only way to my father is through me JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. never ever break this commandment.🤠🙏🏴☠️
*The Secret Key to Alchemy and Mysticism* "Kickstarting Nature's Draw Through Complexity" The key to all alchemy is deceiving but not hard to fashion. The ancients believed that they could summon gods and spirits through complexity. They used the secret corridors of metalsmithing to create complex objects like grails to conduct their ritual practices. Not only did they summon the gods but they brought about the generation of the birth and death of all humans by summoning them from the Celestial into the Earth. They believed in immortality and religious philosophy such as reincarnation, but this is only revealed through becoming a metalsmith, as one would fulfill their summoning and hold the keys to returning to a Celestial realm. The point is the summon all of humanity and trap them on earth indefinitely making them gods. The mysticism in alchemy further covers this up but dangles its key. Here one may interpret the woodcuts of artist like "William Blake." This lies in the vast tradition of "Creation" which is really the inspiration of complexity unto other creative acts. The Greek created men with iron, the Devil taught men originally to metalsmith in times way before Genesis, and the Pythagoreans locked men into a "Wheel of Rebirth" in mathematics whereby the alchemists were closest to the truth of all things. The draw of nature unto Celestial Beings without artistic endeavors is weak. The alchemists sought to multiply this draw through the ultimate complexity which would have been the transmutation of base metals, thus summoning greater beings into a cycle of birth and death whereby they would hold the keys. "As above, so below" Note* The Caduceus in alchemic traditions is another sort of taunting mystery by which the alchemists mock the uninitiated by which the truly wealthy live a life without labor closer to the reality of Earth. People without the keys to alchemy seek the opportunity of a life without labor and enriched without chemical addictions in the truth of the pineal gland and the spiritual. It is only here the keys to the complexity of the metalsmith become revealed in society. The Ouroboros is the social result of this kind of power, much like described in the Greek philosophy of Plato's Allegory of the Cave. It is interesting that the final proof of the alchemic world and, thus immortality, is related to the discovery of one's prior identities in rebirth and also their knowledge of origin Celestial origins that allows for the eye to awaken in next-life possibilities. The substance of the mind becomes more easily worked in Karmic physics unto new births. Who am I, so to speak? Am I Roger bacon, Nicholas Flamel, and where have I been? -Jeremy Nienow "You say it's your birthday? It's my birthday, too...": -The Beatles Earth is the biggest party that ever existed. The entire Celestial universe will be affected, forever. Any final battle or Armageddon will simply further justify its cause through the desire of all good beings.
I just literally joined but I've been a long time fan of the Library of Alexandria and its restoration. I'm starting to collect YT channels as my childhood passion of making books / journals has been reignited. Your channel reminds me of artisanal printing methods like this treasure exhibits stand out. Beautiful little book! Thanks for showing and conga rats to the winner! PS - I made my boyfriend very happy when I met him in Toronto & had the librarian there pull out the 1st edition (not first printing) of Bram Stoker's "Dracula". (My bf is a big fan of books & of vampires. LOL!)
I love your channel, your videos are very soothing and I appreciate that you share unique books not normally reviewed on TH-cam. You've mentioned that you're an artist, maybe you could incorporate artwork you've done or a sketchbook tour or something for a future video? Just my two cents.
Thanks for the feedback! I hadn't considered doing a sketchbook tour definitely worth considering ❤️
I watch your videos for ASMR. I don't have any recommendations, keep doing what you're doing.
Thanks for the support!
Using gematria, the ceptinary cipher, all the houses of the zodiac total to 315. Rule of colel, begets 314. First trinity of numbers of pi. Like, In the beginning.
I find your videos very relaxing and I enjoy listening to your take on things. I think it would be cool if you narrated some stories for future videos but I'd be happy to watch whatever you put out. Thanks for doing this giveaway!
Much of the reason i subscribed, is because i find your voice to be very relaxing and lovely, i listen to your videos often to relax and sleep, ASMR basically. I'd love to see more of the same from this channel, Can't say i have particular requests or anything specific to say besides i love your voice and taste in books lol.
Thank you for the feedback and for subscribing! I'm glad to hear you find the channel relaxing ❤️
I have a copy and love it
Do they have the prequel trilogy in this form other than the paperback version?
I think B&N have only published the original trilogy 🫤
@libraryofalexandria_ I'd like to get my hands on a prequel version should they decide to release one.. but not in paperback, but this type of design 👌
The manuscript looks very intriguing. Thank you for discussing this.
A book full of nonsense designed by someone knowing full well that no one could decipher it because it is never meant to be read just full of mumbo-jumbo
It would seem so. As much as I would like to believe in its authenticity I can't help but think it's a medieval Codex Seraphinianus of sorts.
"It's like some medieval terms and conditions" 😂
Hi friends! I want to apologize for the sound quality in the video, I was recording during a thunderstorm so there is a lot of white noise in the background, I hope it's not too distracting. I do intend on purchasing a better microphone for future videos but in the meantime, please bare with me while I sort out the technical difficulties. Thank you all for your support! ❤️
No Worries 😊
That made the video so relaxing
Your voice was clear.. not a problem :)
Looks nice!
I liked the one that started like," never laugh as a hearse goes by, for you may be the next to die!!" Such a good book!!!😎
That one stuck with me too!
I've got the book but I also figured it's not a good place to start if you're completely new on the matter. Which books do you recommend for that?
I'm not well versed on the subject so my recommendations are limited but I really enjoyed The Kybalion, it's a little controversial for being watered down but I liked it and I think it was a good introduction. I also really enjoyed The Secret Teachings of all Ages by Manly P. Hall and Initiation into Hermetics by Franz Bardon. Hope this helps!
@@libraryofalexandria_thats amazing thanks a million times for taking the time to reply
Beautiful book indeed.. have just ordered it from Amazon 😊
Love your videos, thank you x
really a nice book and a good price also... one of my favorites
Just picked this up today. Such a nice looking book. I love it lol
Hope you enjoy it!
No Lady Susan? 😢
Thank you for this wonderful video. I have a Doré - Bible more than100 years old in the Germany language - a very big book. Besids this I love the King James Bible too. Greetings from germany.
Wow that's very cool! How did you come to have it in your possession?
@@libraryofalexandria_ Years ago I saw it in the House of a very old and rich lady. After her death one of her sons got the Bible. Three years ago I received a phonecall and was asked if I'm interested in this Bible. So this very big and heavy Book in two volumes came to us, twenty years after the death of her. It was printed in 1890 witt the 230 pictures and the Text of Martin Luther. Now a part of my Bibe collection. I'm glad about all new printings to bring this wonderfull Pictures to the people. Best wishes and greetings. .
Amazing! A truly special addition to your collection. Thank you for sharing ❤️
Very nice book. I wish you make review on Donna Tartt "The Secret History" (30th anniversary edition)
I'm not familiar with The Secret History, I'll have to look into it. Thank you for the recommendation ❤️
