BTW, because of your suggestion the Hyde County board of commissioners voted last night to make our stretch of water a no wake zone and have contacted the Coast guard to put signs up! See the effects one man can have? Next time you come thru Belhaven on the ICW you can take credit for the new no-wake zone. Thanks for getting me riled up enough to take your idea seriously! haha
Great video. Just FYI in area you got called out for wake in NC. That is not is a no wake zone. Property owners have put up some signs small and not official . The proper message to you would have been to ask you to come off wake as a courtesy which watching your videos I know you would have. Beautiful boat.
Thanks Ted. Yeah, i am realizing that. I started slowing down only if I saw a boat on the water otherwise if boats were lifted I was going fast. Yeah I love the boat. Super happy with it :)

When you go through the ICW between the Alligator and Pungo you can see how narrow it is, right? You see everyone's piers and boats on the bank? That should tell you enough to slow down as the the captain of your vessel. You shouldn't need a sign to figure that out. Plowing through that narrow stretch of water fucks up our boats and piers , ya know? If someone came through your Marina like that you'd scream bloody murder, yes? Anyway, you seem like good people and I like your show just give us Belhaven Mariners a little consideration. I can understand getting distracted by a beautiful woman like that so we'll give you a pass this time. I shared your suggestion of larger signs on our shores with my neighbors. Thanks for addressing the issue.

Hi James. I used the Chesapeake Bay Magazine ICW book my first time. Now I know the way. I marked my Navionics chart now and keep my notes.
How long did it take you from Bellhaven, Nc to Beaufort, NC? Your average is around 17knots?
It is about a 6 hour trip at about 15knots. My maximum speed is 20 knots but i cruise between 15 and 17.
