Hanau High School, home of Panther Pride, opened in 1975 and closed during 2008. Hanau middle school and high school were located for many decades on New Argonner Kaserne, later across the street from New Argonner Kaserne, in the Hanau/Grossauheim region of Germany. The location for both of these historical U.S. military institutions, were situated on property that U.S. military began occupying in the late 1950's, which was of course after World War II ended in 1945. Also, in the 1990's, the Milcom's Hanau Teen Center and military billeting hotel, found their home on New Argonner Kaserne. I used to be the supervisor at the Teen Center in Hanau back in the mid-1990's. I also worked at the hotel that was only about 100 meters away from the Teen Center. BTW, the US military in Hanau deactivated in the Summer of 2008. For more info check this video's information area. Thanks for stoppin-by, subscribing and for sharing our videos! WOWWW!! I'm in awe of the beautiful modernized changes! Though I honestly miss seeing more of the the 90's era, I'll always cherish the MANY memories of having lived in such a great place as Hanau and employment with ACS Pioneer Kaserne. My two girls still speak of Hanau High School being awesome! They still keep in touch with a few alumnis. Thank You for this (FAV!)! I'm sending them an invite to your YT Channel ♥
Lived in New Argonner from 86-88…. Attended Hanau HS for a short time when it was grades 7 through 12, I left only a few months before the middle school had opened. It was a shame because Hanau was starting to become quite awesome during the late 80s.
Yep, everything is different. Class of '93 and still living here. Lamboy and Argonner has been taken over and living areas, shops and offices have popped up. Very lively but so different and Hanau itself has changed so much, most wouldn't recognize many places anymore.
So I assumed they torn down all the old schools there and built apartments in their place? I remember both schools. My daughters both attended the Elementary schools there. Good times in the 90's while living in Hanau.
thank you Odist I never made it too the high school I played on the Hanau Buffs from 1970 to 1973 we were house in New Argonner how do I email you Jerry
I was there at the exact same times-grades 7, 8, 9 and I lived in Aold rgonner, right across from the flag pole. Great teachers - Ms. Cowen, Ms Zadan,,,,,
Went to the middle school in 04. I have fond memories of wrestling practice and running laps around the inside of the High school. It’s a bummer it’s all gone now but I guess it was time, politically speaking.
