The acting, the sound design, the story, but most importantly the DIALOGUE… all outstanding! This is really some of the best writing I’ve ever heard in ASMR. A 10/10 video all around!
Love the use of background sounds here. And what's apparently a classic Polaroid camera. Those things were awesome. Fun fact about old Polaroids: because of the nature of pictures, because all the development chemicals were present on the final picture and with it having to be all self contained and portable. No two Polaroid pictures would ever develop the same way, they'd always have tons of little imperfections in there that cannot be replicated, meaning each picture is truly unique. They also fade away over time, further adding to their uniqueness.

I’ve literally listened to this over and over again and it’s still amazing every time. The dialogue and most importantly the sounds (car starting, keys, doors closing, seat belt, milkshake, Polaroid, wallet etc) are superb. The amount of work and detail that goes into it is just amazing. No one is doing it like AfterGlow and it’s what makes me keep coming back excited for every video she releases. One of the most unique asmr experiences in the entirety of YT
Fun fact: "Cherry Chapstick" used to be a slang term for the liquids left on one's lips after performing a certain oral technique on a lady. I was absolutely DYING of laughter at the chapstick part.

Left me and the entirety of my family absolutely gobsmacked. So yeah... go mom, I guess.

The way the story flows and the way afterglow delivers the script is so beautiful and makes me want to imagine myself and my "bestfriend/gf" just riding our car for some roadtrip bondings and Idk it just feelz like a perfect bonding and I really want to thank you for this afterglow🥺💖

I love the creativity in these role plays, the voice is so gentle. These role-plays bring back a picturesque scene in my mind; and it reminds me of a past lover who could have been forever. Or lover who is yet to be...that it is still a little ways off in time. Love is why we exist as humans.

Fuck. I've listened to too many of these. I heard the voice at the start and felt my heart flutter. That cannot be an emotionally healthy response to simply hearing the voice of someone I've never even met.
Maybe it’s just me, but I would love to see a continuation video of these two. Maybe a year or two down the line and the listener proposes to her and removes her thoughts of never getting married.
