I have similar experiences in the public sector of the Sierra Leone (SL) Government. Just yesterday, I was engaged by the Head Internal Audit of the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) SL on our planned Policy Audit of his organization, which is a Third Party Assurance engagement I guess. Do we have the "audit rights" being the internal auditors, who audits the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MLSS) SL the parent Ministry that supervises NASSIT (SL)? Please through light on this in a contemporary public sectors challenge.

Audit rights in a public sector scenario will come from the powers delegated to you by the government.
