I snorkeled there recently!! It's crazy, i've always swam next to the jetty but had no idea what it was like under the jetty, with all the sponges and fish!

Yeah I think it's a really underrated jetty. I often see lots of cool stuff there. Earlier last year there were Port Jacksons about.

I've fished that jetty a few times over the years. I'm surprised how barren it is under it though. Enjoyed your video. Cheers.

My video must not be doing it justice lol... it's far from barren. Quite a pretty jetty with colourful sponges. Always guaranteed around halfway to see hulas and zebras at the pile of debris, and usually see interesting stuff towards the end, whether it be big schools of fish, Port Jacksons, or a crazy amount of ornate cowfish 🐳
