Dungaw in Bicolandia

The "Dungaw" Tradition of the Quiapo and San Sebastian Basilicas has spread nationwide. During the National Feast of Jesus Nazareno in Naga City, instead of the traditional Virgen del Carmen, the image of Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia is exposed and placed at the balcony of the Parish of St. Francis of Assisi. A replica of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno from the Holy Cross Parish pauses before the church, following rites from San Sebastian Basilica.
