There is problem that grub settings is not saved for next reboot..
Yeah i tried version 11.. and it boot device was never found..

couldnt get anywhere with version 7 mainline. used vmware workstation player 17 with windows 10. i dont reach live cd screen. stalls at black screen with "primeOS x86_64:/ # followed by flashing underscore cursor. i have no idea what to do.

You need to select the boot option for VMWARE, without hardware acceleration.

This is strange, since VMWARE virtual machines are configured by default to boot from local hard drives before starting to look for a PXE server. My guess is that it means that somehow the bootloader doesn't exist in the virtual hard drive.
