The UCI Mountain Bike World Series unites mountain bike’s major formats under a single brand for the first time. Ahhh money is the reason for everything. Redbull still has tons of ad placement in the DH world so they did not feel the need to overpay for the privilege to broadcast it. Still see plenty of Redbull riders, sponsored track features and banner/poster advertising in all the free coverage I am watching.
New track is just awesome! UCI is a bunch of scammers and clowns!
Not covering the semis makes them completely useless. Teams and sponsors don’t get the extra coverage… really disappointing on the way discovery is taking this sport

Still no Enduro highlights.... I suppose its only been a day since the race. Moi Moi TV has us covered ;)
It's because they do the highlight for enduro and e-enduro together and e-enduro race is a day later. Which is not a good idea. They should do two separate reports. And in Bielsko-Biała they may even wait until Sunday if they want to include downhill as well.
The course designer and builders created the perfect fresh course. I love to see a track develop and the rain was a big plus. Great event. can't wait to see the race
No free semis even this year, UCI have never done much for DH and now are killing it proper

I am sooo mad! Nobody can watch the entire race even if they wanted to. This is killing the sport. Someone needs to speak to Whoop to apply pressure on UCI!
Nobody, including me, liked the semi final race so Discovery/UCI said FU to the fans, sponsors and riders and canceled the semi broadcast! Great reaction eh! Add it to the list of reasons why I did not pay to continue to watch finals. Supported and paid to watch last year but with no improvement to format, more steps backwards in broadcasting, no way this yea!
Thank god for all the riders own channels and people like moi moi/Ed master and vital. Would rather support them then this lot of rip off merchants. How to kill of a great sporting event in 2 Season. Well done whoop(who ever the hell you are) and UCI 👏👏
I love mountain biking but it's hard not to lose interest in watching downhill nowadays. I really use to look forward to downhill weekends on TV. I just feel for the riders, so many top riders and teams left twiddling there thumbs on race days.

Yeah, it was hard when they stood next to you, they didn't know when to stop. I saw one of the teams close the curtains (?) in the pit quickly, when they saw a group with a chainsaw closing in. I counted at least 3 crews with chainsaws, most notably Slovaks (I think), they were having a party of a lifetime 😁
I loved Stevie and always cheered for him, I get the tradition, I really do, but the noise and smell is a little hard to bear, especially for a longer time during the day (I'm trying to put it mildly...).
Which channel is the guy at 5:13 filming for? He had a great view! 🤔

The chainsaws shouldn’t be allowed. That’s very distracting to the riders. And annoying for anyone else.

Yo no entiendo nada. Se ve claramente a los camaras grabando y se oye a los drones volar pero no lo emiten o no lo dejan subido para que podamos verlo en diferido. Dejen de joder ya al DH en favor del XCO. Este deporte lo subió en audiencia Redbull TV gracias al ambiente del DH que hay en la competicion. Lo de mover el Short Track al sabado esta en concordancia con no dar en vivo ni las Qualificacion ni las Semifinales del DH, porque en las fechas en las que coincidaran no es posible hacer la retransmision de las dos cosas.

This video is almost unwatchable with the stupid chainsaw noise. That should be banned from all the events. Idk how the riders and even concentrate on the trail with that going on.

Trash potato quality shaky cam and lacking coverage again this fortnight, at least next year I’ll have more money to spend on a bike because I won’t be spending it on any crappy stay live coverage the uci seems fit to give us.
I'm sick of down hill. Is that what mtn biking is coming to. Sure it's fun going down. But also more dangerous. There is no head to head competition. Very boring!
