Xarb, Khamaaj and SarMasta they are definitely going to make in the last 8 bands. Overall in this ep of season 3 the standard of music is way better than the last season. Again . . . Thank u Pepsi Pakistan for the real Pakistani battle of the bands.

Great season opener. Quality is visibly higher this year. Judges attitude is quite positive and they are carving their own nice rather than blindly following Simon Cowell style. We in for some serious treat folks!!

Things have really picked up over the last year with the revival of Pepsi Battle of the Bands and the reunion of bands such as Aaroh, Overdrive, Milestones, Rushk and Junoon. With Pepsi Battle of the Bands, there are bands that have been around for years that we had never heard of, until now.
Ifra has done her orignal song hatsoff to u writer.... vocal and lyrics was soo amazing i just cut the whole episode and downloaded ofra song and listening to her power pack song in a car 😊
46:50 the drummer Usman is actually a really really good guitarist. He has worked in a lot of Nescafé basement songs too. Loved the guitar solo played by him in "Sweet Child O Mine" cover by Nescafé. He also did the vocals and guitar in "Larger than life" rock cover by Nescafé. Amazing vocals and guitar skills
This band Aag, remember the guy on drums, Usman, performed on Nescafe Basement a few years ago? The song was called Do Pal and it is a mind-blowing song. It can be a good prospect since Usman has a classical touch to his voice and thus can bring variety to the music they produce.
Usman has been a staple in Nescafe Basement since season 3, and he's done way more on the show than just Do Pal! What a great talent... Skilled at drums, vocals, and guitar!

Loved the show awesome talent !! Some turned out to be underdogs. Judges are also very polite and encouraging.Good to see no melodrama and over the top acting by judges.Gives me great pride to see the talented youth.
An extremely strong start to the season. The variety and quality of music on offer in the very first episode was amazing. Khamaaj, Xarb, Aag, Dhool, Sarmasta, Tamasha.

Amazing start by Xarb! It is a complete song itself!!! Tamaasha simply nailed it! Dhool reminded me of Meri Meri from Coke Studio! Aag aka Two Man Army! I can hardly digest the idea that two people gave such an energetic performance... Khamaaj slowed the otherwise rock and metal setting... Finally Hard-e-Rock by Ehl-e-Rock! Estraplock quickened it up, should have uploaded the complete song... And who would not have been drawn to the soulful music of Sarmasta... Ah, the pleasure of listening to Pakistani bands absorb Sufi attributes in their music and deliver a pleasant performance. Such potential...
If the first episode is AWESOME like this, what are they gonna do rest of the season? I mean each of these bands needs to have at least 10 songs performances broadcasted so that they get the fame they all deserve. How can you choose to lose some of them just after one song? Take them all in! BRAVO! ENCORE! ENCORE!

I think there is a tie between Xarb and Tamsha for top position. Tamsha Have edged pass Xarb a lil in this episode but I doubt they depth like Xarb has. Vocalist and lyrics from IFRA is amazing but they need good mentor and exposure. If Vocalist from Dhool move Ehle Rock, that band can rock.

Who’s playing bass for Aag?? They have such a heavy influence of bass, yet no bassist :s Also, didn’t see the drummer doing any backing vocals. Is there a bass player/backing vocalist in hiding? All-e-Rock’s band sound is great but the vocalist consistently falls short. He has such a nice texture but he didn’t feel the song. Xarb, for me, was the best followed by Tamasha (guitar player needs a lot of work though).

Khamaj dropped their lead vocalist, but forgot he was the only good thing about their band.
Kryptonite_smassao lol the thing that makes khamaaj stands out wasn't their old lead vocalist but their composition and Sufi feel.
I couldn't agree more. It seems like the band is trying too hard but still missing out a lot. Their previous lead vocalist was EVERTHING I SWEAR.
