I have never been on one. And probably never will. But your style of presentation backed up with your passion and knowledge make this my go to channel for a break from the everyday grind. Thank you. Wishing you every success for the future.
The forward crew area looks perfect for small kids on a family cruise, while the adults can have some peace and quiet in the guest cabins. Assuming you`re an owner/operator that is.
Yes, quite a good crew setup on this one. Certainly better than the tiny and dingy cell entered by lifting a seat cushion as you see on some of these boats. Some I've seen even have the toilet in close proximity to the narrow cot, so the "cell" reference is apt, I believe.
Nick you are like the Beatles, the hits just keep on coming with spectacular tours of multi million dollar yachts and some very affordable golden oldies. Thank you for the hard work.
Nick, This yacht to me is a breath of fresh air. I really like the layout of this yacht because it is different from most other yachts. The passageway downstairs in both the crew area and the guest and owner accommodations are examples of this. I can only imagine what you could with the crew area space you were a competent owner operator. Imagine the possibilities of changing that area.
Things I liked; your tour; the foredeck; flybridge; the power 😁 Things I didn’t; layout; styling; VIP cabin next to the crew cabin; all the gold; the weather; day heads downstairs and round a corner. Overall, Nick you’re too good for that boat and have shown us far nicer!
Come off it Nic, you are showing us round the new tardis and not a 78 foot boat! It has so much to offer and no noticeable shortcomings, apart from the gold trim, very reminiscent of 90's Caravan and motorhomes? But then that is my take on it. Again you have set the standard for boat tours with excellent product knowledge, charm, passion and inquisitive vidiography. Thank you for sharing with us.
I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the layout but it is super nice to see a shipyard developing the yachting industry by doing something new and brave. Amazing what they can fit on a sub 80-foot yacht! Also, as a none native English speaker your vocabulary and describing phrases are marvelous to listen to as well as really educative, thank you for that!
They make one hell of a boat. When we traded ours in we really missed it. Even though we went up inside it just did not have to fit and trim as an Aizmut. We are talking about going back with them next spring. They have a lot better selection of larger boats than they had in the past. Good job on pointing out all the features. I know doing it outside in the rain does not make for a good day. Look forward to your video on the 8 that you pointed out in your video.
Love the boat ! Crew area is very nice ! Squeaky Floors !!! Pet peeve !! Love the Off center berth in the VIP - A Azimut Signature item ( I Like the Navetts 52) The TV hidden in the Mirror is a nice touch and to include the Bose Soundbar Primo !. You can see what the Volvo IPS can do for space savings on boats ! To me three engines are much more expensive to maintain than Twins - - 50% more for any maintenance. But the space savings on this model for machinery spaces is impressive. And when you buy a boat, you are buying volume - so I see the trade off.
Another wonderful Tardis. Love to see what Azimut squeeze into one of their 30m boats. Not sure I'd like to man the helm whilst the Galley was in use, but great for your guests
Finally a boat where the crew don't have to get wet to go into the accomodations. That cabin is definitely an extra guest cabin to me, so the boat sleeps eleven... and the huge saloon/dinette can take it! I like the galley and dinette at the helm, good use of space and makes the whole main deck feel like a house rather than a boat. Not great rearward visibility from the interior helm though. The day head is also miles away below decks... Maybe a slightly smaller saloon could accommodate a day head between the saloon and galley/wheelhouse. Cheers to the foredeck dinette, but jeers to the lack of tender garage. It would eat up all the headroom in the engine room though.
Sportscruisers are ‘fun’ boats, low, sleek, big sun pads and deck areas, so less accommodation focussed. Flybridge cruisers are about accommodation and facilities so the priorities change.
Very unique than others I like the way the the the desinger increase the socical area and made galy in front of yacht and crew cabin were also good than others yacht I have seen in videos .
Nice boat. I just looked at this boat on Boat Tube & didn’t like the tour then realized you had the exact boat tour so I watched yours & it was absolutely exceptional as always. I really appreciate the way you do your boat tours & show the engine room. You really know your stuff.
I like this boat quite allot. It seems very well laid out.You don't see any usable spots blank.I imagine it's easy to strap a tender on the rear bathing platform as well.Great size and range for a week's tour of the Caribbean with family,or a few friends.
Great video! I love the lighting and the colors. Every surface is finished so beautifully. The layout is unusual but i like it! Thank you for the tour!
5:50 I remember the "Finnish Sauna".... but Swedish should use it too! They are neighbour 😂 Nice boat with a particular modern-classic touch and, as usual, nice walkthrough. Thank you Nick!
If I was ever "using" the galley, most definitely and unintentionally I'm going down those stairs. Looks real big, even in the engine room with three engines.
WOW Nick I have been going through your less recent videos lately (I watch the recent ones as soon as they are posted and have done so for about a year) and I must say, I am so sorry I missed this one last year. This boat has a layout and configuration that, to me, is quite unique. The utilization of space and the size:power ratio on this one is very impressive. As always, you are AWESOME! Keep it up man, great work!
Hi Nick. I do like the crew area. Not sure about having the galley as part of the helm station. There's a lot of boat, plenty of style and 3000hp which you would expect for italian builder. You have a great job nick, always appreciate your video tours.
I love the Azimut yachts all of them they are the best I have seen so far. Talk to Google, You Tube and record companys about these yachts they are serious about buying one. I am looking to look. They are the ones with the money. I cannot go any higher than $5,000,000. Relay the message now.
Hey Nick....you gotta start asking Camelot for some commission because I bet I'm not the only person buying lottery tickets on the back of you reviews ! Another great review btw
Is it me or was there not a dinning space in side? Also that is a nice boat and nice that the crew space is inside not accessed through the high low platform as in rough sees I would hate having to go out side or If it was raining you would stay dry
The forward table in the saloon lifts and opens to form a dining table. There is an alternative layout with a proper formal dining table in that area instead, but internal dining areas get little use in the Med, so this set up makes sense for a lot of owners.
Such an impressive brand! Each one is remarkable in it’s own way. This one reminds me of something I’d see in a science fiction futuristic movie from outer space. Such a great tour. Does the table in the salon transform into a dining table? Bravo!
I found you channel awhile ago and love watching your tours. I'd have to sell my house for just a down payment for some of these yachts but I love being on the water my boat wouldn't even make the cut as a tinder on them a little 14' 48" cristliner jon boat but it puts me one the fish and that what makes me happy. Love your channel I'm from the east coast of Canada just thought I'd throw that in there most of our biggest boats around here are lobster fishing boats.
Loved this yatch plenty of room to socialise, black piano curved trim in the helm, the cabins were spacious just enough gold finish not to be ostentatious Azimut really know what their doing here. P.s 100% would lose / gift the green poof on a competitors boat. 😉 my size of boat very nice Nick👏👏👍
The crew area for a 78 is really impressive! I think it’s 3 times the size of a Princess 95 where I think it’s located at the stern right next to the engine room. Tho I’m not saying Princess don’t make excellent boats but for the size this 78 has a fantastic layout making excellent use of the space.
That is a stunning boat. The styling and layout is spot on for the size and price. Just waiting on the euro millions to come up and il be placing our order. Hehe
Thanks Nick, great tour ... Crew in bow is good idea. But not sure about Kitchen next to helm ... Great to find 3 Engines, but is Master cabin on other side of bulkhead getting noise?
@@notrut If the boat is travelling at speed I'd have thought you'd want the baby with you on the main deck rather than leaving him or her in the master cabin.
Everytime I watch one of your reviews, I think to myself, yeah I really like this one, this is the one for me. Then you go and remind me that the Azimut s8 exists, and I remember that is all the boat I need 😂
As you stated Nick you could man this as a owner in effect the " crew cabin " could be used as a teenagers den ? The best boat & layout you've reviewed in a while
One of the best crew areas I've seen. My biggest question is, where do you eat? If the weather, or whatever, keeps you from the fly bridge, and maybe the cockpit, do you put your plate on your lap, or taketurns at the dinette?
Massive headroom in the engine room brought to you by the absence of a tender garage. Love it!! I think if I were to spec one of these to buy it (in some other lifetime of course), I'd insist the tender garage opening be water tight and open to the full engine room. But then, my life as a technician on various mechanical beasts drives that view. Interesting observation: exhaust runs right into the pod drive lower unit. I wonder how that affects cavitation? For me it spoils the wonderful noise an engine makes, but I'm sure the guests enjoy the quiet.
:) :) :) :) Todays word....”Like a Swedish sauna” (Bastu) I heard you whispering that... Super nice boat, and of course you make a, ***** presentation Nick, what else could we expect from you,and I was gobsmacked when you down in the engine-room showed us not two...but three Volvo engines, wow that is some serious power plant,Nick. And I have read that the IPS system from Volvo is a very “user-friendly” system, probably something that you now more about Nick. I look forward to the next video from, until then I wish you and your family a very good weekend from a grey dark and rainy Sweden, cheers Nick. :) :) :)
this boat fits me perfect, only changes i would make is remove the wooden flooring in the bathrooms and add tiles instead and make a jacuzzi on the flybridge
Awesome Nick, i would not know any of that (TV behind the mirror) feature on a yacht if i don't find your channel in 2018. As always love your job and keep it up, like has been add. Cheers from Indonesia.
Another interesting and thorough tour, Nick!! Interesting layout: i'm thinking that the kitchen is really quite small and has minimal counter space - maybe that's not necessary...? Other than that, it seems to me that the stair to the crew quarters is dangerously close to the sink in the galley - and misstep would have the cook tumbling down the stairs. and I understand that this is a boat, however: it seems to me that when touring the guest bathrooms, they were quite cramped for you........ It is a beautiful boat, though. And the way the pilot house and galley and crew quarters can be closed off from the guests is quite nice.
I have never been on one. And probably never will. But your style of presentation backed up with your passion and knowledge make this my go to channel for a break from the everyday grind. Thank you. Wishing you every success for the future.
It's kind of you to say so Paul, thank you. :)

That's a very good point, it would make an awesome teenager den, well away from civilisation! :D
Ideally you would get an external lock fitted too so they can't come out.
