There are a couple of problems w/the G-Classroom-SIS integration. 1) If a student doesn't hand in an assignment and you assign a ZERO within G-Classroom and sync w/SIS, it properly assigns a ZERO to the student. If for some reason -- before the student actually completes the assignment and you change the ZERO to another grade -- you just delete the ZERO and sync w/SIS, SIS doesn't remove the ZERO. You have to manually remove the zero from SIS and 2) If you create a SIS assignment for all of your classes w/o linking it/them -- at first or initially -- then start to link them individually [or class-by-class] to their corresponding G-Classroom assignments and then in the process of linking a 2nd, a 3rd, etc. you notice that the due date needs to be changed, SIS and/or G-Classroom links the rest of the classes to another G-Classroom's assignment.
Hi Vincent. Thank you for the feedback. Our group would love to provide some feedback. I'm forwarding the email version of this to the SIS / Google Classroom team. Your Gradebook Manager should also have some information. Finally, everything about the integration including the people who support the integration is located at sites.google.com/palmbeachschools.org/edtechtraining/livestream-resources/google-applications/GoogleClassroom/sis-classroom-integration?authuser=0
Would say that you recomend to sync the SIS and GClassroom? or is it better to manually create your classes in G-Classroom and not worry about synching them to SIS?
Well, you could use a unique one . you could post in your stream some thing like this Hello class ....... To easily join our class during these times, go to the Google Meet homepage (click on the link below). Then enter my meeting code of "Frimet". meet.google.com/?hs=197&pli=1&authuser=0
Sorry my bad I thought u were talking about Meet, but anyways once you create your google classroom and invite them. if they accept your invitation they will not need the class code
