I'm an old head lol. lived through the golden age of hip hop and witnessed it's birth. Ever since I was 9 i got my first rap L back in 1982 lol. I think if LBJ would have fitted the rhyme scheme he would've picked him. But the "James" reference he makes right before the Brady line is about LL Cool J (James Todd Smith), who also got a 2,5 out of 5 review for his BAD (Bigger and Deffer) album back in the days and is now seen as a masterpiece
