      Would you know if John Wheeler is still alive? If not, when would he have passed?
      There's nothing current on him (that I could find), though Sailor Bob is still with us.
      Interned shows a John 'Archibald' Wheeler, but this man looks super old that passed in 2008.

    My root question always was: What's wrong with me? If someone had said: Who are you? I would have said: A neurotic, unhappy person! This comes from a lousy childhood/family. I did encounter my Real Self behind/under/over my personal/unhappy self BUT that Real me never stayed very long and I was always right back to the miserable, unhappy me most of the time. John's teaching to just being me, right here and now and not wait to finally "get it" has done the trick and I'm finally OK now, LOL!

    Good interview that goes over the ways concepts become associated with an I. I've had many email exchanges with John and he is a great person to point one to what is there prior to concepts and see what is already here for oneself. Thanks Richard and John for the video and all your work.

    It's amazing that, when John says "At the end of the day, I don't know who I am" (the root of all our questions), then Richard INSTANTLY changes the subject!! I guess Richard just isn't comfortable with getting to the "root" of all those questions - particularly his own! Psychologists recognize that diversion tactic when a client avoids an issue by "changing the subject" in mid stream - because IT HURTS TOO MUCH!

I read somewhere in the comments that he had a bad kidney disease?😢

    I made it just over seven minutes into this conversation and it struck me very strongly why John Wheeler withdrew from this circus.
    It must have been desperately trying to face the same old nonsense over and over again, while almost everyone he must have met completely and utterly misses the point.

    try to read what you've written as if you had done it for yourself. No, I'm not defending Richard, I never saw him before, I'm just pointing your own finger onto yourself. Everything we speak about anyone or anything is just about our own mind. The more we resist to accept this, the farther we are from clearness and from the Truth of ourselves.

    The way Richard makes speeches and babbles on & on trying to make some "point" is astonishing but the way John just smiles and silently looks at Richard is even more amazing. What can John say when Richard rarely asks anything and goes on and on as though he "knows" something - it's actually FUNNY to watch Richard chase his own tail while attempting to seem wise or informed, but under Richard's rattling, I can detect unexpressed questions which John attempts to address the best he can.

    • @integralsun
      @integralsun 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Richard plays an invaluable role of the seeker while John responses draw you back to what is always present, always the case. Stop looking for something exotic to show up and just understand or notice your being-ness.....now, wipe that smirk off your face!

    @Jim Rich: Absolutely. Miller avoids the truth with his rambling egotistical agenda (a la Richard Archer, Buddha at the Gas Pump), and maybe it is to avoid the pain. But his pain was felt here while listening to this frustrating "interview" (all about the interviewer). Excruciating waste of an opportunity to hear Wheeler's clarity and understanding. Yikes!

    "At the end of the day, I don't know who I am" hmmmm? But you are no one, you are no thing...WHO AM I? it's a trick question! Language is the best tool for not getting realized, however, these "gurus" could be much clearer and precise w/ the bad tool they have.
