Had two consecutive rounds yesterday where i fought avtomats. I genuinely dont understand how someone can complain that their enemy is using a 1000 huntdollar expensive item that shoots so rapidly NON OF THE FUCKING BULLETS WILL HIT ANYWAY? If you have any shotgun, a nagent officer, a spear, a caldwell new army, a throwing axe, a derringer. YOU WIN. The Avtomat has so much recoil that it is only useful with 1 bullet loaded in so that it can actually hit a target 5 to 10 to 100 meters away. I've killed many avtomat users, and only ever died to one or two. I'm more afraid of Bow Users, or Dual Wield's, when people know how to use those, THAT'S real danger 😂

Way worse is the decision to make you burn out within SECONDS now... add to that that you can freely burn someone from MANY MANY metres away from safety without anything negative is just crazy to me how so few talk about this. Without the ability to ignite body from such a big distance WITHOUT any negative effects is crazy and shouldnt be possible. Sometimes I really think if developers are sick and have a sickness which makes their developer brain rot.

I get the criticism but to be fair this is something that was always possible to be done with these weapons by design. You wouldn’t argue that the Wild West was call of duty though.

Which means I'll bet my ass that 12 players per map will be significantly increased. I'm 6 stars and after 10 minutes the server is empty - that's no longer a hunt showdown for me

Well, the reason they were annoying is because of how people used them, camping inside compounds and refusing to come out until you pushed them. This is because they were useless beyond 10m, forcing players who equipped them to wait for enemies to come into that range. It's part of Crytek's efforts to make the game less stalematey. Now, shotguns and levering allow aggressive plays, because their effective ranges are just that little bit longer. To prevent stalemates, players need to have advantages they can press to put defending hunters in bad situations.

And now everything has apparently changed and there are no campers with shotguns, reward players no longer sit in the bosspit for 30 minutes without picking, but have started playing aggressively? The weapon changes have emphasized everything I disliked about the game: more spam weapons, more turtling in compounds with one-shot weapons, more spam rushes from the lack of fear of loss from the econ changes. After 4k hours of playing this and being my favorite game. After the new engine and update it's just not fun, it's not rewarding anymore, everyone is a 6, all ammo types are unlocked it's spam central. Too bad seeing a game I love get catered to the newbies wanting a cod experience.
That's why when I play nowadays when I see another solo pick up bounty on map. I run the other way having 10 seconds of wall hacks insane. Especially in the hands of an actually decent player. Better not die.
Even with the buffs, I don't think the lever rifles are that powerful. But the *Terminus Handcannon* with levering is arguably the *best secondary in the game,* competing with dolch precision.
What do you think about Mako levering ? It's powerful to think of a weapon that can consider long and close ranges, but the ammo capacity might be of concern. Any opinions ?
If you use high ground well, explosive mako levering is guaranteed to get you a kill, but it turns your gun into a consumable so to say. But I'm hardstuck 5 star for the past 3 years so idk if higher ranks think differently about it.

I think he meant if you do the normal boss and take a bounty then you should leave, because then they will know youre solo and can be more aggressive. And sure with the solo bounty they dont know how many people there are but they still know where you are at every time and with only 1 revive its not that simple for solos anymore (also 1 token still brings a lot of money, if you need that)
Nah, the audio is indeed wack. Last night i had a trio stepping on dirt but they were actually inside the lair. Teammates didnt have a clue and I only knew of the breach because of team dying. Also sound like behind me but they were actually below and above me.

Well it was kinda bad until the buff. I tried many matches to make it work but it never did its job like it shouldve. And i didnt wanted it to defeat guys over 10m away, but it wasnt reliable enough, so i sticked with small specter or rival instead. So i'm kinda happy that i have more options now to use for a short shotgun

Well best would be still fmj because of the wallbang power but fire is also strong. Even if they get away 1-2 shots will ignite them and probably burn them 1 bar away. Thats like if you had downed them once. Also they can sometimes run into barrels by accident and it can get you kills (but that mostly happens on lower ranks)
Can someone tell me, why the graphics looks so "clear" here but if I play it the distance is BLURRY af? Playing on Intel / 3070. I can even ADS and see more details in the distance (this is a big problem since like many many months if not years in hunt). Never had the blurry distance before this update. Now its really bad especially because now you actually have long range fights every now and then.
They changes ironsights. Mostly for the silencer weapons but if i remember correctly also for some Default weapons with bad iron sights (but not nitro or diopter)

I like how much ammo that one has, but the gun itself is quite long and sticks out easily in CQB. I'm also a Gunslinger noob so the effect is more pronounced.
@@_Slog_ I just got used to using Q to lower it and ticked away the 'keep lowered' thing. It's not often that you'll need to lower it to avoid wall clipping but making it a habit helped a lot. As soon as you shoot it goes up anyway.

This game is full of tryhards and cheaters. It doesnt even have that western feeling anymore with the ammount of spam weapon. Its just COD at this point. And for some reason even if I que up in EU Prime time I get a lot of chinese players now in my game who all have some bans on their steam account. Game is trash now.

I understand why people have a hard time coping with RNG. A hipefire headshot will never feel fair, levering, fanning, or otherwise. But.. Do people forget this is a funnie haha cowboy game? Cowboys shoot from the hip. You've seen a western or two. Its why Hunter Mode is the default. There *should* be a place for it. But the RNJ element to it will always discredit it / undersell its importance & value.

The game takes itself fairly seriously and it's also a game where dying can have a penalty to it and you're, at bare minimum, putting some time investment in to even find the other people on the map for PvP. Not to say it's either hyper realistic or competitive but it's certainly not Fistful of Frags. Most people also don't mind getting hit by hipfire, they dislike the rate of fire that levering allows. I don't really mind levering existing, though it may need to be toned down a notch, but I think your argument is unsound.

Been saying this forever. Hunt so badly wants a bigger player base. They keep catering spammy garbage for the other FPS players. This is a garbage change, and bad the games playability, and originality imo.

The levering buff was absolutely unnecessary to say the least.. On top of the shotgun buffs I can't see myself playing any games where people actually use anything but levering shotguns now...
I understand why people have a hard time coping with RNG. A hipefire headshot will never feel fair, levering, fanning, or otherwise. But..

Cowboys shoot from the hip. You've seen a western or two. Its why Hunter Mode is the default. There *should* be a place for it.
But the RNJ element to it will always discredit it / undersell its importance & value.

It's not funnie haha cowboy game though. What gives you that impression? The game takes itself fairly seriously and it's also a game where dying can have a penalty to it and you're, at bare minimum, putting some time investment in to even find the other people on the map for PvP. Not to say it's either hyper realistic or competitive but it's certainly not Fistful of Frags. Most people also don't mind getting hit by hipfire, they dislike the rate of fire that levering allows.
I don't really mind levering existing, though it may need to be toned down a notch, but I think your argument is unsound.

at this point i just uninstaled game it become so gamey that i can play anny other shooter and not see diference --- fast fire rate, bunny hoping and night are so bright that they could delete them from map rooster -- looking foward when the beautifull light come out - the hunt just keep loosing its soul for me :/

@@_Slog_ idk scottfield is just terrible and full of rng. With over 1.4 k hours i gave the scotty many time with fanning and i was always disappointed. And the 2 pax are nearly the only pistols even worth to use fannig for sadly

Been saying this forever. Hunt so badly wants a bigger player base. They keep catering spammy garbage for the other FPS players. This is a garbage change, and bad the games playability, and originality imo.
It's all spam now and the new map is either empty favouring long ammo or so cluttered that the shotguns are the only choice. Camping and stalemates galore. Old Hunt will never come back.

Lastly, maybe it will go through your thick skull this time. People can be critical of something and enjoy something while not enjoying part ot the thing. It isn't black and white capisce? Hunt also is unique enough, though lately it's losing a lot of that uniqueness, that there is no other game quite similar, warts and all. So no, I can't magically play another game, I'm stuck playing Hunt until I enjoy it less than it infuriates me.
