Beavers are good dam builders. They have a dam good work ethic., good dam building knowledge, know when and where to put their dam knowledge to work. I think they deserve a dam medal for their dam ingenuity!
I Agree with That... Too Loud and The Percussion is Completely out of time with The Strings. Regardless of The style of Music, Out of Time and Out of Pitch Makes For hard to Listen Music!! Much more enjoyable once you turn on the Mute!!
It would have been better if i could hear the sound of cracking twigs and branches and the slosh of mud and river stream and the mechanical sound of the excavator arm while doing its thing... still great video remind me of my childhood, had fun watching👍🏼
@ Curt, Agreed, Was going to say the same, Natural outdoors + machine sounds over this twangy stuff is better, Dont get me wrong, im from the deep south but i dont like the music either....
The best way to control beavers is to dig a channel through the dam. Then place a perforated metal culvert in the channel extending maybe 20 feet in front and behind the dam. The beavers cannot hear the running water and will not try to plug up the culvert !! Try it, it works great !!
The beavers from afar, watching this go down. "Well, we've seen this before. They did a nice job of preparing the pond and river for our next dam! We get to rebuild our dam, with fresh new material!"
Keep up the good work guys, enjoyed the video! 👌🏻👍🏻 kinda hard digging with the thumb down halfway most of the time! But great job and you guys sure are overrun with beavers there, that’s a lot of dams there! I hope y’all have some good luck my friends and y’all stay safe! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Don’t know much about beavers here in New Zealand. Do you have to get rid of these dams every year, or do the beavers go somewhere else? I guess it is because they are blocking the water flow?
My opinion is if you don't like the music just mute it. At least we don't have to hear the machine noises! It is a lot of work to get the water flowing where is should be. You are doing a good job of messing their damns up. How many damns were there on the property? Hopefully you have trapped them and their relatives don't come looking for them. LOL
For future reference start with clearing debris from your work area so you can get a full swing without hitting anything if possible. Second work on the lower end of the dam and pull as many sticks out as you can and work your way upstream. The water pressure will push a lot of the silt out of the way and you will be able to see where you're working.
Farmers find beavers pesky, but they stop sediment being washed away thus slowly creating more land, or shall I say swamp.. just nobody has the spare time to wait till this happens. I've seen one farmers dig into these dams and lay pipes so the water still flows and Beavers are kept unaware of the breech.
I would looking over my shoulder if I were you son. Messing with their dams like that is gonna get a wanted poster of you put up in every beaver post office in the country.
I could find 3 days worth of running water, excavators, and beaver jokes on TH-cam. Not a problem hearing some change of pace music. Send it! BTW, good dam work too.
who fucking cares ! these animals are a fucking pest. blocking waterways messes with the eco system. Just like i say to my dog and cat....Get down , go find somewhere else to sleep. . . you're in the damn way.
Vito Scaletta - You sir are fucked in the head. Bad for the environment? 🙄🤦♂️Beavers are actually good for the environment. All the beaver dams that have been destroyed over the last 200+ years has resulted in massive flash floods down river, wiping out more farmland than you can imagine. Now, if you own a farm and they’re flooding tillable area, it’s a problem. But if a farmer has a lot of tillable acreage, and wipes out a lot of beaver dams upstream, the acreage downstream could get flooded and destroyed. Or someone else’s farmland downstream could be destroyed as a result. The little lakes that beavers build, act as a huge sponge to absorb rainwater. They also create environment for fish and other wildlife. Oh, and talk about something that destroys an ecosystem, that would be your cat, if you let it roam outside. Keep your damn cat indoors where it belongs. Cats kill millions of songbirds each year, mostly for sport, helping some 33 species of songbirds to go extinct. Look it up.
I can't help but feel that what you're digging up would be good mulch. It looks rich and fertile, suitable for spreading across fields or laying along groves.
How about explosives? Would have been more interesting. And blow that soundtrack up too while you are at it Stay healthy everyone. We will get through this together.
“Hey you woodchucks, quit chucking that wood!” 😂🤣 Dynamite 🧨 works well also! 😖 Gotta have a bonfire and burn up every stick of wood in the area. That music was driving me 🦇 💩 crazy after a while. 🤪🤯 I had to turn the volume off.
Unless you install a .22 cal channel through the vital organs of the Castor canadensis in question, this dam project will be rebuild shortly. Every two years, a new crew moves up river to expand the range.
If not before, I suggest trapping may help . The dams are built by never tiring damn beavers ! Got to get rid of them , at least thin them down. My observation, for what it's worth .
That was so fun too watch and Im a girl. DAM beavers. Nothing but destructive rodents that help Mosquitos and destroy clean flowing water. I know they have a place in nature, but not somewhere they're not welcome.
Great job and fast pictures, thanks!!
I like the sound of a machine not music before water fowl return or after

They ain't that smart. Many get killed while chopping the trees down.
@@AStanton1966 that's good to hear
@@paulreilly3904 Not a good deal for the beavers though.
Holy crap, that music makes me wanna paddle a canoe and play banjo with my friends in the woods..😂😂😂😂😂
Video was good, but would be so much better without the music. Keep the sound natural and let us feel like we are there. Hope that helps. 😃👍🏻

awesome camera position. Love watching moving water and a blade. Fortunately the title explained the video. Keep 'em coming!
Beaver on the other side with his sunglasses on and general's hat says I SHALL RETURN!
I would rather listen to thevambient sounds of the job than this music, good as it is.
It would have been better if i could hear the sound of cracking twigs and branches and the slosh of mud and river stream and the mechanical sound of the excavator arm while doing its thing... still great video remind me of my childhood, had fun watching👍🏼
How many times have you scooped up a beaver while removing the dam?
Stop the bad music, let’s hear the machine
HA HA, I was saying the same thing, fast forward once, fast forward twice, and still the benjo sound.
@ Curt, Agreed, Was going to say the same, Natural outdoors + machine sounds over this twangy stuff is better, Dont get me wrong, im from the deep south but i dont like the music either....
Dis-forking-agree. The music was the best part. Watch Letsdig18 if you want monotonous diesel sound.
From what I see on TV news, the beaver know more about flooding then anyone in Iowa! 73 Ed

no music, machine, natural sound. Seriously your sound ruined a good video.
You are right about the bluegrass music that was used to overdub the original sound of the machinery. Totally sucks.
Why is this video so satisfying to watch ?

Hi balik 👋🏼
감사 해요
Actually, I love the music. Different strokes for different folks.
I enjoy natural sounds. If I want to listen to music, I know what to do.
That’s why I turned the volume down! lol stay safe brother! 👍🏻

What part of his doing is the good work? Go back to school & learn more about ecology.
How long would it take a beaver to build all that?

It's like watching Dukes of Hazzard, I was expecting the General Lee to fly over the dam.
Western Iowan here. Thumbs up cause beaver videos are my jam! The music however is not. Next time just let the machine be the soundtrack. 💙
My first thought was that this was shot in Western Iowa, probably Southwestern from the looks of the background.
amazing the amount of stuff they put in to making a dam....
I’m always waiting for a beaver to jump out from stuff being dug up! Still waiting to see one 😝
Id rather hear the tractor dude talk then listen to this stupid music...
Musics pretty good for TH-cam.
You're going to have one angry beaver on your hands! That might make a good name for a strip club "The Angry Beaver"!
Damn beavers know more about building dams than most engineers lol

Good place for him to learn how to maneuver machine. Try to improve skills.
The operator did a very good job.👍
That's terrible, it's not the beavers fault that humans have taken over all the lands.
Those beavers will have that rebuilt in two days. Tannerite makes everything alright!
Farmers find beavers pesky, but they stop sediment being washed away thus slowly creating more land, or shall I say swamp.. just nobody has the spare time to wait till this happens.

I see one can get alot of enjoyment doing this. Job well done!!!!! Love the music.
And not one pissed off beaver in sight, oh wait, they're down the lawyers preparing to sue for DAMages. 😜
🤔
Enjoy watching these vlogs with the sounds of the demolition.
The music is driving me insane

Very nice video!View ability compromised by the music though!
Beavers? Ducks are thinking dam I still have to make payments on that pond!
I got to 4.25 and had to leave because of the naff music. I don't mute thanks
I gave it a thumbs down on account of the the music if I want to hear music I'll turn the radio on
Same here!
How long before the beavers rebuild them?
About a month.
Thing is if you dont haul off the debris the beaver will just reuse it to rebuild the dams...
I really dislike these rednxxxx who doesn't understand the ECO system...The Bevers are the engineer of the land.
I Agree whole hearted with you! Truer Words Have Never Been Spoken harmoni.
There's going to be some pissed off beavers around here
Ole boy needs to pack a lunch or go get a larger digger.
Good job buddy and for taking the time out to it. Sometimes them buggers can screw up a lot of land and trees.
Should change the title.. Mr. Maggoo runs an escavator
Yes and no on the music. C&W version of Philip Glass compositions. Remove before the water fowl return.
No.
That has to be the most pathetic music I have ever heard in my life. I turned off my sound over that shit!
seems like they are mostly made of muck. amazing they even held. Guess the beavers know what they are doing.
Robin C It's quite the quilt work of twigs, branches, mud & beaver feces. Soft to the touch but strong as steel.
Do you know another name for a beaver dam, a kotex.
HA! HA! HA!
Is there only me that likes the music ?
yes
yes
Oh well sound of music will run the bevers away dont worry about the dams ####
Love the tunes!👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👋

Fix it over night. House ain't gone just part of the dam.

pretty clever to use annoying music to drive people away from the video...... BRILLIANT !
If the beavers weren't killed or relocated all that machine is doing is providing easy "parts" for a new dam.
YOU ARE PUTTING THE BEAVERS ON PROZAC LIKE THAT, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
protect beaver ?
872 to 207 says it all. Read your comments and listen to your viewers. I was eager to watch but stopped promptly when the music started.
How about explosives? Would have been more interesting. And blow that soundtrack up too while you are at it

Made me dizzy trying to watch this
i was waiting for buck and roy to jump up hee haw
You're going to have some very T'd off beavers. lol!
Around 18:00 you loose a tooth from the bucket... I hope the Beavers don't find their building materials...

Love the Music,
It's better than a bunch of jabber stuff...
It’s a new invention for you to get it’s ok not to watch with any of the shows you can turn down the music and quiet everything that’s cool
Camera too close to the work to appreciate the amount of work done and your efforts.
Great video /music
*First remove the beavers,* then remove the dam.

now is it time to get rid of the beavers
I agree they will be back in a few hours repairing and replacing

Hi there
Only a idea.
Put that in a compost
Beaver dams are super important for ecosystems! The fact that you destroyed one is Beyond me!
save a tree eat a beaver
I noticed u keep goings left inspite of being blocked by trees and branches..
I know it ain't the beavers playing banjo with all this going on.
Dude, not cool. If you like fishing and getting the really big ones, thank a beaver.
It's the mud not the wood that makes up the majority of the dam. It binds it altogether.
I enjoyed that ,thanks 🇬🇧
Simple formula for every foot of dam 1stick drill 1ft apart ,1 beaver 1 shot 1kill!!

Let's speed up the video and make it look like a real operator lol
Huh, didn't help at all.
Serious vertigo from the very onset😵💫😵💫😵💫
Background and black dirt look like Western Iowa along the bluffs.
Refer back to those piles of debris from the dams in a couple years. It makes great compost
I was wondering if it could be useful for anything with all those sticks in it.
Albert Cyphers, The beavers will use that material, drag it back, and rebuild the dams. "Pre-cut and ready to use dam building kit".
In my experience with beaver dams they generally won't reuse old material
@@albertcyphers1532 , I didn't know that. Thanks for the reply.
