Sydney is simply an amazing person. She recently went out and competed in a 200m and all the heavy hitter sprinters were in the race with her. She blew them all away and stated later it was just a training event for her in prep for the Olympics.
OMG! Sydney is knockout gorgeous, highly intelligent, she juggles, and what else? Oh yes, she’s a double world champion and world record holder - lucky Mr Lavrone 😊🙏

Barely raced last year, while her chief rival Femke Bol had a busy schedule. Sydney's 400 IM hurdle race from Japan was insane.
She was recovering from a minor knee injury. I would guess when she is back at it she will destroy Bol in the 400 outright and hurdles even though Bol seems unstoppable.
I still give Sydney the nod I guess. Bol runs so many races and, based upon her new indoor 400 record, just keeps getting better. @@travisjazzbo3490

@@travisjazzbo3490Nah, she certainly will not destroy Femke Bol. The last time Sydney won ,Bol didn,t had the after burners she hase now. Her last 100 , 80 meters are so incredibly fast. We will see . It will be a great race for sure.
I am a fan of Sydney and the only competitor she currently has, Femke Bol. While Sydney wrote a book and is a frequent guest at shows, Femke easily wins races in all sorts of meets. I hope Sydney will compete again soon.
Look....it's really simple, whenever Sydney races Femke, she will always beat her by a country mile. Whenever Sydney is not racing, Femke beats everyone else by a country mile. As great as Femke is, they are simply not in the same league. Sydney is exceptionally great and elite.
@@dmvbay2535 This has been true so far, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will always be the case. We will only know when Sydney decides to compete again.
@@HeadPack that much is true. What is also true is that Sydney hasn't been beaten lately so as it stands we shouldn't be lumping close competitors with her when that is not the case. Femke will have to deal with Britton Wilson and others in the 400mH if Sydney decides to go after the 400m WR and not do the 400mH.
Sydney no longer competes in the 400MH...she transitioned to the 400m flat last season

Yeah, I feel bad. Like what if she has RBF syndrome? That's such a real thing...she's either an introvert and was out of gas and couldn't be ON through another person's interview OR she is going through something. On Kelly's part, that's not great hosting, you don't make guest share the stage. And on the part of the wrestler lady with RBF, I think she needs a better agent...someone who will talk to the show hosts ahead of time and make sure she gets handled properly.

I'm an athletic tragic and not much impresses me. In fact her sub 52 I felt wasn't that special as the 400mh isn't really a highly contested event. But for her to take it below 51... She is a phenom. I would love to see her take the 400 flat below 47 before she's done.

So here's the problem. Sydney is so incredibly stunning without makeup that she looks clownish with this amount of makeup on. The juggling only makes it worse. I'm not at all against her wearing makeup if she wants to, but EVERYONE should be advising her against it for the reasons I just listed. Of all the people on the planet who NEED several layers of coverage to make it bearable for all the rest of us to eat our dinner and keep it down, Sydney is NOT one of them. I hope those trusted advisors around her do the right thing.

The mentality described here seems to help them but honestly? Drumming, juggling, religion or writing books about yourself to improve your sport does not cut it. Femke Bol is just gonna run and run harder at the moment. She focuses on running 100% and none of that other stuff.
Another great Dutch athlete once remarked; " when i came to play football at Barcelona there were players praying in a chapel before every game. I saw no point in that since the opossing team does the same. If god exists he would not be impressed at all by anybody." (Johan Cruiff)
In that deeply religious area he became known as " The saviour" or better than God himself. He was a genius who focused on his sport and now his initials JC are laughingly referred to as Jesus Christ. The people in Barcelona will probably not say how useless religion was for their football but they worship Johan everyday still.
