Tekken 4 and 5 are by far my favourite Tekken games of the Franchise. Especially Tekken 4 is sourly the most unique and underrated (mostly because of the choices that hindered the competitive scene) but it is my favorite Tekken to date, because of the very seriousness Vibes of the Story aspects perspective. The seriousness atmosphere of Tekken 4 it's on another level in my opinion. The soundtrack is what gets me the most next to the game's atmosphere. With soundtracks like: Fetus(Prologue), Authentic Sky, Unihabited(Mall Area) Didgerhythm(Jungle Area) Touch and Go(Airport Area) and Kitsch(Beach Area) and The Inner Shrine(Hon-Maru Temple) and others soundtracks, For me Tekken 4 remains even in these days the most Unique Tekken game of the series. ☯️ #NostalgicVibes
Take it from me: Hwoarang can be a tricky character to adapt to. But once you find your comfort zone with his command list in each of the games he's featured in, it feels pretty rewarding when you don't have to resort to strictly utilizing the safest inputs to come out victorious. I used to struggle with finding my rhythm with Hwoarang for the longest, but he recently became one of my favorite go-to characters to use after spending my fair share of time with him in Practice. That being said, I commend you for keeping the faith when Heihachi had your back against the wall for the majority of this playthrough. If you don't mind, I'd like to make a suggestion. Using quick pokes and counter-hit setups is the best way to deal with the later stages of Story Battle or Arcade. Regarding the first half of my suggestion, I recommend mainly using mid and low pokes, but there's nothing wrong with occasionally throwing in a couple quick high attacks.
Hwoarang was my first main coming into Tekken with Tekken 4, a very simple-feeling mashy character, though having learned more of Tekken in the coming months I'd adapted more to Lee Chaolan, though Hwoarang (and T4 as a whole) are games I do want to learn a lot more of.
Right??? Japanese version of this game had some weird voice dubs. It's also weird on the INTL. console version we'll have Hwoarang speaking perfect English with someone different voicing him and meanwhile Jin's VA is struggling to speak English lol

7:49 "Holy shit Hwoarang's speaking English"
09:17 EXCORCIST MARDUK :/
To be fair, I don't like that voice at all. I prefer his voice from the international versions as it runs so much better.
You didn't even gave up when Heihachi kept defeating you. I'm proud of ya! :)
Damn nice, im hoping you get to do all of the characters, good job
It's so weird hearing Hwoarang speak in accented English here
