The reason apple is like this is because Money but you already need that. The deeper reason is yet again money. Google gets money from you whether you like it or not, so they have no incentive to be super controlling. You could say well they make more money if they locked down android IE can't install apps outside of the app store and you can put other OS's like graphene OS so you could say that argument is wrong. But I would counter argue that even though thats true android isn't like iphone where one singular company controls the phones 100% meaning, if google tried to do this they not only have backlash but also they just can't unless Samsung AND the manufacturer agrees which they probably wont. So google just can't have the control as apple does. I know apple is going into advertising but it's way tamer than googles, Im not saying apple wont become a new google becasue they might. but the old business model is sell long lasting hardware that is expensive and have everyone upgrade every feel years. I could be wrong but it's just a differnce of business models. Im not defneding them as cool as they are charing 60$ for a thunder bolt 5 cord is insanity and the ram/ other upgrades are expensive as well. They for sure are high yielding the prices but there business is preimum, as on iphone there no ads on the phone. I could be wrong as I have a android but on my phone I get ads from the app store and I have to go deep in the settings to turn it off. Im not complaining but im just saying by default there shouldn't be ads. Apple is going into advertising and they do have ads in the app store but current moment they there isn't much ads. Apple is a greedy company and there some things I wont spend if I don't have to unless all out nessary.
We have used and still use many apple devices. We know how Apple is. We just think it's a problem that people easily and WILLINGLY accept for many different reasons.

I am like half a apple sheep because I know some pratices aren't good and design flaws. Some things are outrageous like the ram and storage upgrade prices. But I like to defend as bad as they are because apple is advancing technology. What I mean is with all this money there able to make the fastest chip in the world. The new M4's outperform high end X86 CPU's from AMD and Intel combined! It might sound stupid but they are advancing computers so as bad and greedy as there practices are I accept it. Now I wont buy there expensive stuff unless I abosulty need it but thats another story!
@@JamaltLee Yeah exactly! In my opinion 16 gigs of ram still isn't enough but should be good for most normies out there. I use around 17gb of ram on a daily basis so 24gb of ram is perfect for me. and yes the M4 chip is incredible I got the pbase pro chip and it's pretty good

On a serious note I know exactly why they designed it like this A) apple sometimes likes trying to new things and B) the mouse is so flat that bending the cord would damage it over time so putting it on the bottom was "Better" You see this with any compact device like how the new mac minis power button is on the bottom. Not defneding them I personally think it's stuipid as well as my logitech mouse as a USB C port in the front so when i forget to charge it I can charge as I play. What apple needs to do is make a real mouse. or have the magic mouse then make another mouse without the touch pad on it. As it acts as both a mouse and laptop track pad to a extent. They should just make a normal mouse or anything that is NOT a pancake.
😂😂 In regards to the cord getting damaged over time, I think bending it to plug into an upside-down mouse would do just as much damage over time, maybe even more, to be honest. The lightning cables that Apple used before they updated this mouse after 9 years were also some of the worst cables/cords in terms of durability. I agree the should just make a more normal sized mouse, but they should definitely keep the trackpad idea because it's cool imo.

I see, I didn't know people like the trackpad part of it as personally as a normal pc user I use track pad very inefficient.
