Im not a drummer, but why do the accoustic drums in this video sound so much more boomy and loud and almost sustained? it gives a very nice big sound effect. the accoustic drums in our church sound wayy more snappier and it hurts to listen to. the snare is very snappy. the overall sound can be described as a quick " attack " with next to no " sustain" or "boomy" sound effect. it almost sounds too percussive compared to the drums in this video. could you explain as to why this is the case? ( are there effects added to your drums and different tuning to create that big boomy sound from the drums) or could it be specifically from the drum kit? because we tried electric drums for this event for ease of transportation the kick drum, toms, high hats and snare sounded so much better even though the accoustic version of any instrument is supposed to sound better because its raw sound.
