This is from Notes on Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics "Aristotle makes some assumptions about the character of the human soul, dividing it into a part that GOVERNS (reason), a part that is or ought to be governed by reason (the passions or sentient appetite)" This is also verbatim from FTRC "Reason is supreme in a human person and so should govern all of life's activites" In conclusion, what governs our Actions is with the use of our reasons.
