This is a great solution for newer guitar players who are still discovering their “sound” and what they enjoy playing. With its desirable features, 6-in-one design, and analog style sound, the Mooer Black Truck is a wonderful option for people to start exploring the world of guitar pedals.
Geared towards rock and metal players, the Mooer Black Truck contains many different pedals for Mooer’s Micro series. The additional functionality included in the pedalboard makes it an ideal, ultra portable solution for players.

The Black Truck DOES NOT come with a power supply, which is mildly aggravating. Certainly it wouldn’t raise the price of the pedal that much to include one. Why, Mooer?
Like mentioned before, the Mooer Black Truck has six different effect pedals from their Micro series. A useful combination of compressor, overdrive, distortion, EQ, modulation, and delay/reverb are included.
All of the effects have dedicated foot switches except for the compressor. This is okay, though, because it is something you will want to have on pretty much all of the time.
The Mooer Black Truck combines the best of both worlds when it comes to digital and analog circuits. The gain and the EQ switches are both analog which gives that warm, distinctive sound that only analog can provide.
The other four effects are digitally created. All of this means that the sound of the Moor Black Truck is wide and versatile, creating exactly the sound you want when you need it.
All in all, the Black Truck by Mooer is a great sounding, compact combined effects pedal at a reasonable price.

I'm late to the show but I just got one of these today to use in lockdown from coronavirus and its a ripper. It helped me eliminate 4 pedals and just have this now and the mooer a7 as an extra pedal and it rips
Hey, thanks for watching, glad you dig it.
I think the Black Truck's two halves are meant to fill in the things that a lot of simple amps lack: a (higher gain) drive and comp in the front and (more extensive) delay/reverb and other time effects. Plus an eq for extra shaping. They're not meant to be used at once, just meant to turn a simple amp into a more versatile system. Not a one trick pony but a versatile system. Even works without the amp to some degree though it's not a modeller.
I just wish the eq could be put after the loop (=preamp).

I'm not sure - I've never heard a Cerberus pedal before. I would say just listen to plenty of demos and go with which one sounds better to you.
Would you call this a preamp? If you leave the EQ in all the time, would that be your "preamp" stage?

Whenever I see demos of "hi-gain" gear with SINGLE COIL pickups, I stop and pass. lol
