Wow, such a beautiful pond and waterfall, and the Japanese fish, beautiful colours, we call them kooikers. And I am sure that the dogs love it too. The Pols are very blessed, but they deserve it.

You can plant a carnivore bog. Pitcher plant sundews Venus fly traps anything that likes the bogs. There are a lot of them that can stand the cold weather that you have there's a company of Seattle I watch their videos and they leave a lot of their plants out during the winter and they would know which could and which could not survive.

What is the purpose of the wetland and all the filtration?
Wetland becomes a habitat for there fish and bring in wildlife to the pond, Filtration is to keep the pond much cleaner
and easy to maintain.
