WOW!!! The look in Rayas eyes was bone chilling. It's like her animal instincts took over for a second and she wanted to snap the puppies in half, fully aware that Suki wouldn't be there to defend them. Good observation Oliver. You noticed the transition in Rayas behavior and took immediate action. Now it all makes sense as to why Suki doesn't trust Raya around the pups. Suki senses something that we can't.
I said the same thing yesterday. Everybody doesn't agree with Ceasar Milan & his methods, I understand that; however, he has stated that dogs can fake submission. You need to look at the whole dog (especially eyes) to determine if it is real or not. Raya fakes submission.
Omg. Raya is not saying, "please let me sniff more." Look at her body language & eyes. Raya started growling. Raya feels comfortable doing what she is doing & ignoring your commands because Suki wasn't there. Suki has always had very good instincts about her surroundings. Suki knows who is safe around her pups. Suki did not attack Kiki when around Mashu/Yori; however, she did hover over Kiki until she was sure of Kiki intentions. At the time, I thought Suki was kind of bullying, but now I understand why Suki did what she did.
@@Jassiij27 true but Raya did look at them with a very odd menacing look plus growling at the pups. Idk what to think all I know is that Raya needs alot of training and I'm glad the owners are there to help.
Raya's body language was not positive towards Kenji, her eyes, ears weren't either. At the end when Oliver moved her Raya started growIing.Wouldn't trust Raya a single bit. Oliver ,please be careful. fm- England 🇬🇧 U.K.
Why is it so important for "aunt" Raya to "play" with the puppies at this time? She is not their aunt and they are not toys. Please let Suki raise her last litter in peace.
That is what I don't understand. Why does Raya need to have access to babies? 4-5 weeks & they will be sold. Raya has no need to be involved. I think this is the most beautiful & healthy litter & even as stressed as Suki was she has them healthy. Keep Raya/Suki in completely separate places. Raya is only going to do what animals do. Once she has one of them in her mouth she's going to play with them just like they are Mr Fox & you will be burying more dogs cause Suki will know & she will attempt to kill Raya & Shiro will become involved! I've enjoyed this channel so much but you have gone from arranging babies & dogs for nursing & beautiful photos, beautiful walks in your country....really enjoyable content to some dark side. I'm very afraid you are willing to sacrifice them for your own desires which, as I said, have gone dark! The calloused way both humans are treating Suki is sickening. I know dogs aren't human but they do have heart & they love. Have you ever been forced to do something you hated? You are yelling, pushing & not petting Suki, who has always been your baby! Then you pet, love on & laugh at Raya encouraging her dominance in the home. But they are animals & as humans, when we are forced to cater to someone we can leave. Suki can't leave & as a superior Mom she can't leave her babies. I just wish I could understand what forcing Suki to allow Raya access to her babies does for your channel. Yes...if a baby doesn't get killed maybe you have proved your abilities as a breeder/trainer. But if the tornado 🌪 hits you won't be able to rebuild your channel ! I actually get sick every time I see the excessive petting of Raya in front of Suki! Raya is a joyful dog & she's beautiful... I care about her too. But you engineered this litter of puppies. They will make you money. So why can't you just back up & allow Suki to be the best mama around & put one of them in a room alone? Suki would probably welcome the solitude at this point. And when selling babies also rehome Suki. It's the only way you will have peace in your home again. Raya was bought to make babies with Shiro & that's fine...you're going to be a breeder. But why is it necessary that your audience begins to hate on Suki & why is it necessary that Raya knows the babies? It isn't necessary! Y'all weren't that mean kind of a human or you had it very well!
@@lindag3736 I agree. This is turning into a disturbing animal sociology experiment involving infant pups, a nursing mother and a cute but slightly feral young female.
@@lindag3736 I totally agree. It's like they're trying to show that, "Hey, we can do this! Other breeders can't, but we can!" She do not want RAYA around her babies, PERIOD!!💯
Raya has some erratic behavior so hopefully nothing unfortunate happens with her and the puppies. It seems Raya still needs to learn boundaries for the sake of Suki and the potats.
Oh boy! Erratic seems an understatement! Raya should NOT be around those pups at all. Her aggression is only going to get worse! Watching her this time, I don't need to be an expert in Shibas. I AM an expert in wolf hybrids and wolves. You need to show your vet and a dog training expert these video's. I did! My vet (who happens to be one of the best around) and the gentleman who runs two wolf hybrid and wolf rehab facilities where they have won awards in what they do! I am humbled and proud to work with him and his facilities. Both Vet and my boss said you need help! Raya is exhibiting almost feral dominance. I don't want to see anything happen to any of the dog's!!! A word of warning, do NOT let Raya be checking the pups where Suki nurse's them and takes care of them. Suki will know! And what little trust she has in Raya will be gone. I can't believe you did that. You already saw the fight Suki and Raya had in that bed. Now Suki's puppies are there and alone. Wow! You are playing with fire! I won't say anything more. You obviously don't wan't to listen to the majority of your watchers. I can't understand why! So I will do my best to check up now and then and keep my mouth shut.
Sorry Matt, had to vent. That little moment in time was as dangerous and foolish as I have ever seen! I'm going stick with wolves. I know exactly what they are going to do. Little Raya is very much a wolf in a Shibas body.
Yeah, it’s probably best to wait or at least only let her see them when Suki is around. She seemed fine kissing Kenji in the previous video when Suki was still in the room, but here Suki was gone and she acted very strange
Yeah but I think all it is , is that Raya is still very young and is learning what a young potat is and what they do. The crying, whining, sometimes squealing, chewing, suckling, looking around etc. Or atleast I guess. 😆
@@Li_kettu why though? she's just a pup, she needs to learn her way around Suki. Even for Shiro, he has hard time when Suki pregnant too, and this is our 4th litter
LOL Suki had good instincts when it comes to other dogs. She's an experienced mom and knows Raya. Raya backtalked you when you tried to move her. Ooooooo I would have corrected that immediately. 😂 It's like she thinks they are her toys. She seemed to be a bit too possessive of them and then she was switching into intense hunting/guarding mode.
I counted at least 4 times Raya was sent back & even with a tap to her muzzle she came back. Give her time Oliver & she will kill one of the babies & in her natural feral mode you won't be able to stop her. And Oliver, it won't be funny sweet Raya's fault. It will be your fault! This manipulation you're trying for is entirely different from posing the babies in the photos before. They were beautiful. This is evil. There is no reason for Raya to ever play with the babies. I remember Mashu & Yori before rehoming & even at 7-8 weeks they would not have been able to protect themselves against a determined dog! Be good to Raya & put her with a professional trainer. Then she probably could return & play with the babies. But your way is just tempting Raya to be her normal self...spoiled & completely untrained. Please look back at last litter & the joy that was happening in every video. There is no joy since the date of these babies birth. 22 days & every video getting more scary, more dangerous.
@@lindag3736 Well said. Totally agree with you. I feel sorry for Suki. She even can't be a good mother n a protector to her babies. Eveey time I watch their videos, I do feel tense because of Raya when she is near Suki or puppies. Oliver all the time makes excuses for Raya. 🙏fm- England 🇬🇧 U.K.
You have no idea what you can cause with this. You are making Raya somehow feel the maternal instinct to the point that she may form an erroneous bond with them thinking that she is their mother. And the proof is in the fact that she has growled at you and has insisted on sniffing the puppies until you had to put her in the chair. Not to mention that it is dangerous that during nursing the puppies have a different scent (the scent of raya since she has even licked them) and not that of the mother herself. That could cause confusion for Suki, as I see you only do this when she is not there, but dogs are not stupid and they have a much more developed sense of smell than ours. The day you get careless and Raya tries to go over the limit, Suki will take action.
I’m glad you intervened here. Something wasn’t right. Hopefully her behavior changes as the puppies get older. I’m starting to understand Sukis point of view a bit more now..

This is very alarming, especially since raya KNOWS suki isn’t around to protect them. That’s the body language of a dog that’s about to attack.
@@shakeykirkir You're totally right. Sadly, there's people like that April girl who's been commenting everywhere that are adamant to defend Raya and the owners. Even when they are the ones in the wrong.

Everyone needs to understand that Raya is a very young Shiba. All dogs, when they’re between 1 & 2 years old, have a lot of energy. After a couple of years, they calm down. She’s not evil, she had normal canine in stinks. I have a Shiba, that was the same way when she was Raya’s age. After 2 years, she completely mellowed out. Hooman’s 1&2, are registered breeders in Malta. Malta has extremely strict rules, and regulations , concerning all animals. The Maltese government checks up on them. Oliver knows what he’s doing. Just relax a little. Have a great day all.
I didn’t say she was evil. I said she’s young and they shouldn’t be pressuring interactions like this especially with young pups and the already strained relationship with suki. They display she has with the pups was NOT acceptable and I wouldn’t trust her at all, I just wish they would not do things like this and risk any tragic happening
No wonder Suki doesn't want her around. Raya is very beautiful, but keep her away from the puppies. She smells Suki all over them. Look at her body language. Her tails wasn't wagging and she was very still and very different from the loving dog she normally is. Just keep the space til further notice.
I was actually pretty hopeful that maybe just introducing the pups would end her curiosity but…the way she was staring…and still? Like that’s typically what happens before a dog is about to attack…and the growl. I understand dogs growl to communicate, but in this situation, she shouldn’t growl at you.
I was hopeful as well, I saw so much progress in Raya over the past couple of videos since the incident over the weekend. I think like Oliver said it’s a learning curve for everyone, I do think that Raya should be kept away from the puppies or at least at a safe distance for now until she learns boundaries with the puppies.
I'm no dog expert, but I feel like that growl warranted a harsher disciplining of Raya...the soft toned voice doesn't seem to get the message across to her at all as she simply ignored the command and came straight back for the puppies. In all honesty, I still wonder why Suki gets such a harsh scolding but not Raya when Raya has also exhibited some rather questionable behaviour.
Why are you so in hurry?like -raya potats,potats-raya!!! I think you doesn't know how to train your dog. Your dog is becoming a bad dog, and guess who will be responsible? Your dogs love you. Train them properly. My friend gave up one dog on same situation like yours. Big fight happened. Just to make yt videos don't abuse your dogs mentally Oliver. Raya is not a puppy anymore. Gotta hand it to Suki for figuring out that something wasn’t right with Raya early on 👏🏽 I’ll say it again, Raya is a very wilful puppy and that makes me concerned with her close proximity to the pups 😓
Yeah, well acknowledged Hooman that the way Raya was looking at poopers + her body posture was not quite what I would like to see either. I think that it’s still down to Raya’s desire to dominate. She is still young and up for moulding up. She tried to dominate you too. I think that she is growing into one hell of the alfa on steroids, at least she has raw qualities to become one.
What a strange behaviour from Raya. She had a creepy glare in her eyes whilst sniffing the potats, kinda made me feel uneasy almost as if she was going to snap at them.
I mean, Oliver himself felt Raya was looking at the puppies in a strange way, and she actually growled when Oliver moved her back the first time. I wonder whether she is aggressive or just curious towards them.
Totally agree to this, she's is literally behaving weird and that look towards puppies and that growl, I own dogs and never seen another female behaving that weirdly towards puppies. It's not at all good. Keep Raya confined at all cost.
its okay if people worried about the potats, to be honest i feel worried too when see something wrong on Raya's behaviour but no need to say "bad owner" or "abusing dog" on them, that's annoying
I knew I wasn't crazy when I first noticed in the earlier videos that Raya looks at them like they are basically little balls of prey for her. I wouldn't advise you to let her near like that for a long while. No one is accusing Raya of malice …she is behaving based on instinct.
I’ve breed pitbulls for a little over 18 years more so with my dad having 27 years of breeding, intact females will kill each other for the alpha position and they will kill another female’s pups. We had two females pregnant at the same time before they weren’t related like Suki and Raya and one was a experienced mother the other first time they got along great before and during the pregnancy as soon as those puppies were born. Oh that was a whole another story one of the females ripped a part the one of the other female’s puppies. Now this has ever happened to us before cause we’ve always kept a female puppy of our alpha female and just breed her with a stud this is the first time we were given a female pittie from a neighbor who didn’t want her anymore as a young pup and that was when we learned why to unrelated females will kill to obtain female alpha position
Inter-species aggressivity is stronger between pitbulls though, because they were selected for fighting each other. (Which does not mean, like many people still think, that they are aggressive toward *man* - not in the slightest; but they aren't genetically predisposed to be friendly with other dogs, especially in a situation on conflict. A pitbull might play happily with other dogs, but if "push comes to shove", fighting instinct resurfaces) Shibas ARE independent and territorial (Shiro docet), but they were also selected to hunt in packs, *not* as fighting dogs. They are also far more lupine, with a concept of "pack structure" which is common in Spitz breeds. So while same-gender interaction still need caution and monitoring, it'd be less likely to be as bad as the scenario you described.
@@cristinapezzica6714 true but they need to curb Raya’s prey drive, pups at that age sound and move like prey and that can trigger it. Maybe keeping them in the welping box with the gate close and letting her see them through there would be the safest option at least until the pups are fully mobile

Raya looks at those pups like dogs who are chicken killers look at chickens. Very quiet, still and super alert. She'd never be allowed near them again until they were 6 months old, maybe.
Yeah that's Raya's character.. dominant or set as alpha. She's not really smell and kiss the puppies as curiosity.. her position standing near the neck of puppies made me scared ,;(
Diana Rubin kissing the puppies and smelling is affection she was not at their necks jeez you must think these hoomans now nothing get a life and the puppies were relaxed the showed no fear yesterday Asami was so happy to see Aunt Raya she just wanted more time she meant no harm you people hate Raya but she is there for life she is family Shiro loves her Hoomans love her pups love her and Suki does too deep down and she let Raya sniff Kenji in hr arms practically so chll out with the fear the growl wss nothing
Omg! It’s dangerous what you doing. Those potats are still babies and Raya is still a baby I don’t see her as grown up continue introducing her to potats and you’ll end up losing them
@2:45 -3:00 this is not appropriate training and is a great way to ruin your relationship with your dog or get bit. The other day when Oliver physically punished Suki I thought it was a one off but seeing it again is concerning and disappointing. Why not work on actual commands to correct rather than pushing the dog and smacking it?
I don't like the way Raya takes interest in the puppies with her ears standing straight up alerted always. Even in the previous videos her ears were straight up trying to smell them and be more alert and dominant (I guess). Even Shiro doesn't do that when there's puppies around him. It's just that I don't like the body language of Raya when she's smelling the puppies. I don't blame Raya for that ofcourse. Coz Raya is not a kid anymore. And there have been fights with Suki for the alpha place I guess. Just take care.
If Raya were to do something harmful to the puppies and Suki wasn’t around to stop her, I honestly wonder what Shiro would do. Even with the previous litters, if Shiro felt Suki was being too rough with the puppies, he would try to intervene. I wonder what would happen if Raya set off his “daddo mode”.

@@aprilgosa5779 I'm sorry, but I've had dogs of my own in the past and had this situation at one point when I had a boxer/retriever mix girl, a Golden retriever boy and a Labrador retriever girl. The lab had 3 pups with the Golden and long story short the boxer mix killed one of the pups while I was working and I had no choice but to put her down. So if me being concerned about the way Raya looked at the pups makes me a drama queen, then that's your opinion, you're entitled to it, but kindly keep it to yourself instead of being an ass.
Raya is definitely not a loving dog. Fierce and aggressive dog. Dominate and jealous Shiba, especially female will not growl at these innocent puppies and she does.
Honest question: Why is Suki’s 5th litter has come down to all about making the Raya-puppy connection instead of Mama Suki-puppy bonding?!!! Depriving Suki of all her motherly instincts just to favor Raya’s curiosity and appease the Raya fans?! If Suki loses her trust for her Hoomans and just give up her role on being a mother to these two pups, then the puppies would need to be bottle-fed and have their tummies manually rubbed. The upside to this is you’ve pleased Raya strongly formed her alpha nature and her fans too.

I wonder if any1 else noticed too that a maternal response would b licking like Suki did with Kiki. But this thing is hovering over n eyeing the way Suki eyes at things she distrusts. This encounter is more dominance than nurturing.
Licking isn't just maternal response, and Suki did have instances (especially upon Kiki's arrival) where she'd stare at her in similar way to Raya and the pups. Again, no ill intention here, simply instinct being confusing. It's why it's important that they get acquainted (with surveillance of course, like Oliver showed in this vid, being quick to intervene) to the point where "small creature" is perceived as pack member. It was so with Suki and Kiki and it's so with Raya and the pups.
@@vexpressivo Dogs do "live and learn" literally their entire lives (cats too - I remember reading a very interesting study that said a cat needs only to see a person once to remember them all their life; their long-term memory is still being studied, and more amazing than anyone thought). It's just too bad the pups were born at a time when Raya is also entering her "teen rebellious" phase, so that adds an extra layer to the dynamics (ie when she growled at Oliver, is similar to how she's growled back at Suki: to humanize, it's the equivalent of the teenager who goes "You can't tell me what to do!" and slams the door X'D), but with patience, attention and surveillance even this obstacle can be overcome (and maturity will eventually soothe her too). Time is the key, and hoomans know it well ^_^
Careful careful ..... Sudden reaction from Raya cannot be controlled and damage would have been done to the puppy ... Dont take un necessary risk ... ..
Raya growled at Oliver she was showing very disobedience.

Keep that dog away from those pups. That was highly alarming.

Alpha on steriods oh you people read too much

Looks like Suki's motherly instincts were right on, good job Oliver in separating her from the puppies.
Raya needs some strict disciplining if this behaviour continues
Bravo! Total agreement with the intense energy she was giving off. They are really such healthy chonkers.
What a strange behaviour from Raya. She had a creepy glare in her eyes whilst sniffing the potats, kinda made me feel uneasy almost as if she was going to snap at them.
Nahhh..
No, you are very bad optimistic 😂
That was scary to see. It's a natural instinct for some females to kill pups that aren't theirs.
This will not end well…
I knew I wasn't crazy when I first noticed in the earlier videos that Raya looks at them like they are basically little balls of prey for her. I wouldn't advise you to let her near like that for a long while. That could have gone monumentally worse if she were to snap and bite them 🙁😧 she needs to have her place more firmly cemented in the pack imo at every given chance.
I don’t trust Raya around the pups
Facts.
I don't understand why it's so much important at this moment for Oliver to introduce Raya to potats even when Suki isn't comfortable at all. Could you pls hear this Oliver and think about this. Pls
I think it is to understand their behavior. You do realise we will see Raya having puppies and Suki will be around them.
@@supergirlvideoclips894 Oliver won't be able to do nothing if Raya snaps at puppies and they are so small and soft to withstand that bite. As a dog trainer, there's a big difference between Shiro's growl and Raya's growl. Raya would have choked one of those puppies if you weren't there.
This behaviour was evident in earlier videos too. The way Raya looks at puppies is not good in any of the earlier videos. She always stands in aggressive attacking mode when she is smelling the puppies.
Yeah I agree. Shiros growl is more of an "I don't want to hurt you but I don't want you near me either" type of growl. Raya does sound more like she wants to hurt the puppies
Thank you for confirming what I have been saying. I honestly do work with wolves. Around 50 of them between two facilities. Raya is behaving like a wolf does. Raya thinks she is alpha. An alpha female wolf bonded with one alpha male wolf, often kill any litter not of her and her lifelong mate. Raya is very dangerous at this time.
She sounds like she’s jealous because she knows they are the reason she had to leave the house and they are getting all the attention
@@MonsterMama16 Stop humanizing Raya. She is a dog! She is ruled by instincts alone. She wants to be alpha and will do what it takes to be alpha. Including killing the pups!

She senses what's threat what not....

I think it may be a while yet before Raya sees the puppies as puppies, not toys! (If that is the case) once they grow a bit older and are able to walk around, Raya will play WITH them not wanting to (possibly) chew on them like a toy. I dont know that much about that breed. Maybe a female (even tho Raya is young) around another female's puppies isnt a good thing. I dont know Raya's age but, maybe she just needs to grow up a bit, like the potats!😊🥰

Thanks for the video. Rays growled at you when you tried to move her away from the puppies- what do you think about that? If she will growl at you, isn’t it possible she may growl at or even try to fight Suki?
Suki's fears seem to be justified...Raya's body language in Suki's absence is worrisome...Oliver did the right thing to send her back ...in another couple of weeks, Kenji and asami will start moving around...Hoomans will really have a daunting task in controlling Raya....

Reviewed 3:08. Raya morphed into a carnivorous Wolf, for a few seconds. She is to never be left alone, with Suki's pups. It would be disastrous!
3:08 look at Raya's eyes
A pitbull might play happily with other dogs, but if "push comes to shove", fighting instinct resurfaces)
Shibas ARE independent and territorial (Shiro docet), but they were also selected to hunt in packs, *not* as fighting dogs.
Maybe keeping them in the welping box with the gate close and letting her see them through there would be the safest option at least until the pups are fully mobile
what if Suki smells Raya in her pups?
Raya has looked at those puppies very dangerously ever since she's seen them. It's not an adorable I wanna lick them look , it's a I want to hurt them look. I hope everything works out for all hoomans and doggos involved
Raya did seem to go from curious to a bit of a predatory look in the eye. Sukis instincts might not be so much off. The puppies are little balls of furry heaven.
It might also make Suki worried if she smells Raya on the puppies when she comes back. But yeah, Raya did act somewhat odd there. Less playing and more how dogs stare at each others before one snaps. Probably nothing but better be safe.
Revan she was sniffing they are a bit young for play
@@aprilgosa5779 No you obviously have never seen how dogs are. Raya was on edge because Oliver was on edge. Oliver's anxiety made raya think the puppies would harm her, even worse they're associated with Suki who she fought with. This behavior is alarming. It's not "just sniffing"
