The housing issue is a transport issue. Accra is congested. If there was good train network & public transport from further out of Accra it would ease some of the congestion
On housing iasue, i think we could do it this way. 1. All landlords should register their properties and their tenants. 2. They should be made to draw up contracts which a copy will be given to the local assembly and rent control. 3. Inherent in the contracts is an opportunity for increase in inline with inflation. 4. Then only can the rent control advocate for renters. 5. With regards to credit readiness, lanlords can take three month rent and will be kept by the rent control in an account. This will be accessed by landlords when renters fail to pay.

Your tv and fm stations broadcasted it live each time the President reached Ghanaians to update on the covid impact. Inflation and depreciation of the cedi have all resulted due to the impact of covid. Almost all govt institutions shut and quarantined except workers on the frontline. Govt had to pay salaries for over a year whilst workers sat at home. No revenues came in as usual, frontline workers received double salaries as a way of thanking them for saving lives, free water and electricity for those in the lifeline category. Fumigation done across all public schools, markets and other public places, contact tracing and constructing of a vaccine centre as an immediate priority.
