I was playing with all three collections yesterday and included Featured Guest and Electrostatic to make a white to black gradient of the blue shades. It was so pretty! Highly recommend trying with all the shades!
TBH with the linear formulas, you don't need to sponge it on for vertical gradients! You can totally just paint it lengthwise on half your nail, then the other half with the other color. Just change where the "part" is in your next few layers. It'll look super blended. I've been doing this with the other rainbow linears and it's been great. No sponges, protective peel, or base color with one polish color required 😍
Can’t wait to try this with the new Dark Rainbow collection and team it up with my pastel & vibrant rainbow collections for a nice little faded kinda look ✨💿🌮💅✨

Ok, I keep watching and I need help. I can’t wrap my head around which fingers got what base colors. If anyone can clarify I would really appreciate it. I can’t wait to try this out.
Maybe whichever color is 'part of' the other should go down first? Like, green over yellow or blue, orange over red or yellow, purple over blue or red? Maybe?

I'm also allergic to latex, and I have the worst reaction around my nails when I accidentally wear latex gloves, so I feel like liquid latex is out of the question! 😄 But all those nail protection sticker thingies seem...not great. Let us know how it goes! 😀
@@brendaleelydon-carpenter1554 I didn’t do the gradient but I just used the Mani Mask by Maniology and the formula seems more “watery” than Holo Taco’s barrier which made it difficult for me to gauge how many layers I should do to truly protect my skin. I did one layer and it was way too thin which made it more difficult to come off. I’m sure when I wash my hands the rest will peel or melt off. Sorry I’m so late but I hope this helps!
Question for anyone who knows: do you let the first coat dry completely before you start applying the gradient? I feel like no matter which way I do it, it feels like the wrong way.
Does anyone have advice for very curved nails? Mine are large and curvy from the cuticle down and I have to use a lot of pressure to get coverage on the whole nail.
Is there a non-latex solution for easy clean up? Turns out I'm allergic to latex and when I tried to use the protective peel I ended up have red itchy fingers for the next few days -w-;; but I really love this style of nail and wish Icould do it

Nail polish protector wraps may be helpful as a non latex option.
I just ordered Maniology’s latex-free barrier to test this gradient out. Pueen makes one too.

I don't know the technical answer to this but once the liquid latex dries, the polish has also dried enough for a successful gradient in my experience

If you're on a budget, maybe white paper glue might work? eg Elmer's or whatever the kiddos are using in school these days
