That 8th gen Civic at 22:04 is likely a real USDM Mugen Si (I believe only 1,000 were made) that was imported, and then the owner swapped on the JDM trunk for the Type R tail lights. At least that would seem the simplest thing to do. Nice coverage, though. I appreciate you taking a close look at so many cars. I'll be checking out your other videos for sure.
I appreciate the extra info! I didn’t know too much about it at the time but I’m glad I got some videos of it👍 Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy the channel🙏
Pretty crazy the red EG at about 14:37 they go as far USDM to even remove the sidemarkers from the fenders while over here we’re adding them lol good footage 👍🏼
On that eg hatch with s2000 front you didn’t really show the tail light or talked about them. I believe there s2000 tail lights to that’s crazy looks pretty nice tho.
There were a lot of things I wish I could’ve spent more time looking at for sure but the weather started kicking my ass lol, definitely was a wild build for sure though!
I appreciate your effort speaking Japanese but just some advice, add desu and masu when you speak. Namae nandeyo translates to “why name” which sounds like you’re asking them why they are named lol. Onamae nandeska is completely fine and polite.
Thanks for the advice. I’ve been studying Japanese for the past two years and yet when actually speaking I always forget lol. I think I was trying to say “onamae nande i yu no”
Was that a Acura tl in Japan? Or do they call them something else in Japan. Edit: just did some research and didn’t know they were called “Honda Saber”
They don’t seem as common in Japan, maybe it’s too new of a platform or it hasn’t built up a big enough following as the older civics and other newer model cars
@@boomboomtisk it's really odd that Japan didn't get the 10th gen coupe, just hatch and sedan. I believe even the sedan was eventually removed because it was too big.
It's just odd because out of the 10th gen line up you'd think the coupe would have been a good sell in japan. It looks more like a hatchback than the hatchback lol.
He said kid in a candy store mannn u ain’t the only one brotha

Good to know! The lines get really blurred between Honda/Acura because people keep swapping out the badging in them lol😅
❤
Does anyone know what size rims these civic's run to get this fitment @11:50 ? something like a 15x7 35 - 40 offset perhaps?
You’re just about correct, most of these Civics run a 15x7 +35 or something close to it and 195/55 tires.
Does your buddybwith the super sonic civic hatch have a IG? I❤ that car!
Hey! That’s @takayuki_260000zzz
He’s not super active on IG but there ya go👍
I hear theyre not very popular in japan, but do you ever see 10th gens or 11th gens?
They don’t seem as common in Japan, maybe it’s too new of a platform or it hasn’t built up a big enough following as the older civics and other newer model cars

Japan never got an 8th gen coupe either. Seems like coupes would be more catered to US and Euro markets more than Japan.
