Each KC team during this run has been flawed to the point where most people thought those flaws would be their demise. How about we stop dancing around the FACT that only one team and QB has beaten mahomes in the playoffs. It’s Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. Allen and the Bills haven’t and they’ve had more chances than anybody with all sorts of different scenarios. Ravens and Lamar couldn’t beat them with the ravens defense holding them scoreless in the 2nd half. Joe Burrow and the Bengals were in Arrowhead and down 18 at halftime and WON. The debate is silly if we’re not mentioning them. Burrow despite his health concerns his two healthy seasons they went to back to back AFC Championship games and a SB. Point me in the direction outside of the chiefs, to another team doing that…NO ONE.

      Burrow has pedestrian stats against the Chiefs in both matchups against them and won a game where he had a historic defense and Mahomes played the worst half of football in his career. Saying “Burrow and the Bengals” is more threatening than “Allen and the Bills” is why you’re ignorant to how no one is dancing around anything and is simply expressing how Allen is a bigger threat at QB than Burrow. The “different scenarios” the Bills had involve two all time choke jobs by the special teams unit and the defense. If you think W/L is all that matters and that is somehow a QB stat go ahead, but no has to share that idiotic perception of the sport. Allen has phenomenal stats against the Chiefs compared to Burrow’s pedestrian stats. Allen has all time great playoff stats in general while Burrow doesn’t. The Bills have been a dominant team for 4 years in the last 4 years while the Bengals have been dominant for 2 of the last 4 years. The reason people tout about the Bills over the Bengals is simply cause Allen is better than Burrow. And that notion being the basis of why someone places more trust in the Bills is definitely a lot more convincing and nuanced than thinking Burrow and the Bengals are the biggest threat cause they beat Mahomes once 3 years ago in a game where Mahomes played the worst half of playoff football he ever has.

      2. Skylar Thompson
      3. Mac Jones
      4. Lamar Jackson (injured in the 3rd)
      5. Mason Rudolph
      Burrow spanked Allen’s ass already in the playoffs. Burrow has outperformed mahomes in their 4 game head to head matchups. Burrow is 5-1 all time against mahomes and Allen combined. Burrow/Bengals are the ONLY team to beat mahomes and KC in the playoffs and the only ones to have a winning record against them. Allen has had more opportunities and different scenarios to beat mahomes but..he can’t. 0-3 all time. Everyone begged for Allen to have the ball in his hands for a change against KC in the playoffs in the closing minutes of the game because they had more faith in him than buffalos defense to win them the game…STILL didn’t get it done.
      Might I add also the Bills did all that whining, cryin and bitching bout the OT rules because they let the Chiefs score in 13 seconds and didn’t win the coin toss, let mahomes walk down the field score a TD and sent them packing…AGAIN…meanwhile the Bengals the very next week we’re placed in the same exact scenario and lost the coin toss in OT, yet picked mahomes off and burrow got them into FG range while McPherson had the walk off win. This isn’t JUST ABOUT Burrow…I said Bengals/Burrow..it’s team effort..I’ve pointed out records as to indicate they’re team records not just QB stats…you’re the one who got all butt hurt and in your feelings cryin to me about why Allen and the Bills can never get it done. That alone tells you…you’re wrong and just cryin…I’m right and spittin facts. Cope harder buddy. Oh BTW…Bengals were down 18 going into halftime against KC in the playoffs…there were no defensive TDs that entire game and the Bengals came out victorious. That means someone had to lead the offense to play the game of catch up to give them a shot to win…and that was Joseph Lee Burrow. @@justadude1065 Stopped reading after seeing the twitter narrative list you put out.
      1: Retiring Phillip Rivers sent MVP Lamar Jackson home the previous year and was literally the favorite going into the Bills game.
      2: Fair.
      3: Elite defense which Allen torched. Allen isn’t throwing against Mac Jones playing DB, he’s throwing against one of the best defenses in the league.
      4: Lamar put up 3 points and got injured with 20 seconds left in the 3rd after throwing a pick 6 and then taking a sack near his own end zone to basically go 3 and out. Allen violated an elite quarterback and an elite defense that game but because Lamar got injured in the 4th that somehow takes away from Allen and it needs to be stated that Lamar got injured? Lol he was doing nothing before that injury and the game was essentially over with the Ravens going 3 and out, Lamar leaving the field with a grand total 3 points, and the Bills getting the ball back in good field goal position. When Burrow beat Allen last year does anyone babble about Allen playing through a shoulder injury? No? So mentioning Lamar’s 4th quarter injury after he played a terrible game that was already over is the epitome of agenda pushing and it’s hilariously ironic that it came from you in a comment that you started off by whining about some “excuses” lmfao.
      5: Elite defense again.
      5 of Allen’s playoff loses consist of 3 against Mahomes where for 2/3 of them anyone with the brain capacity of a kindergartner could determine weren’t his fault whatsoever. 1 against Burrow. And 1 against Watson where Allen was in his first playoffs and outperformed Watson before losing to terrible reffing cause there is no way the league could allow a no name qb who was being questioned as a bust and terrible pick in his draft just the previous season, to beat one of the faces of the league. No one cares about Burrow’s regular season performance against the Chiefs the same way no one cares about Allen’s regular season performance against them. If the bottom line to you is being a drone and looking at a single thing W/L, then the same way looking at who’s a better player in the playoffs is why people put more trust in Allen than Burrow. Cause by every stat, Allen is a great playoff performer while Burrow is a pedestrian.
      The Bills weren’t even the team that proposed the OT change rule that year and the Chiefs literally proposed it the year before. I get you’re a media drone that regurgitates whatever narrative driven post or segment you see, but maybe don’t be that much of a sheep lmao? Bills fans may have been crying about it as expected but they haven’t even benefited from the rule in the playoffs yet so why is that even a topic of discussion lmao. You realize the Bengals literally voted in favor of the rule change the same way as the Bills too right? Or are you that much of fucking moron? The Bills literally losing off a missed kick and a historic defensive collapse in 13 seconds is why they’re touted more highly than the Bengals whose only fluke win against the Chiefs came by 3 points in Mahomes’ worst playoff game of his career lmao. People are fully confident in 2 things with these 3 quarterbacks? That Allen can perform to be neck and neck with the Chiefs all the way to the end of the game, and that Mahomes will never have a playoff game as bad as what he did against Cinci in that AFC title game. What has Burrow proven? That he has pedestrian playoff stats and his historic defense which was the reason he got to the bowl regresses every year he stays injured? Lmao Allen’s beat elite qb Lamar in the playoffs and if his 4th quarter injury is some type of note to discredit Allen from that win, then the same moronic logic applies to Burrow beating a hobbled Allen. Burrow’s sole reason for him being a “threat” to the Chiefs is a game where Mahomes played his worst half of football from what would be 3 years ago if the Chiefs and Bengals were to match up in the playoffs this upcoming season in 2025 against a completely different Chiefs team LMFAOOOO. While Allen’s is 2 instances where Mahomes played at his best and walked away from a close game where Allen’s defense and special teams sold him. Basically the “biggest threat” to the Chiefs involves a convo between the Bills offense led by Allen and the Bengals defense where Joe Burrow is not included. Burrow came back down big against KC, you said there were no defensive TDs as if that’s the indicator of good defense, and then tried to credit Burrow with the Bengals defense stopping Mahomes every drive for 2 quarters? Are you slow? 💀💀

    Even if you believe Allen is better than Jackson Perna is making no sense. Allen showed up twice against Mahomes and lost. Jackson didn’t show up so if Jackson shows up can he get it done? That remains to be seen unlike with Allen whose failed twice at it.

    • @skinnymelo
      @skinnymelo 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What type of logic? Allen has proven he is capable of showing up as he has showed up twice, three time actually even if one game wasn’t particularly close. Lamar hasn’t proven anything against the Chiefs let alone even in the playoffs lmao. He has 1 good playoff game in 6 seasons in the league. The Bills lost two out of three on the fault of special teams and the defense, not Allen and their offense. So their team can be improved with new personnel where their shortcomings came from while the Ravens have to do nothing but have faith Lamar actually shows up. One of these objectives has a clear goal and process to build towards it and the other is rooted in hoping a player plays better when they have given no indication of being capable of doing that.

    • @billywilliams8378
      @billywilliams8378 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@skinnymelo Allen has proven that him playing his best he and his team still can’t beat the Chiefs. It has happened thrice in the playoffs. A team loses three times to the same team especially when the QB plays out of his mind in one loss (13 sec left) and takes what the D gives him in another (the latest loss where half his passes where behind the line of scrimmage and they just ran it) then the winning team has the losing team number. There is nothing to look at that says Buffalo and Allen are beating the Chiefs.
      Jackson as you stated played poorly. So if you believe he will always play poorly in every playoff game then Jackson and the Ravens aren’t getting past the Chiefs either. But if you think he has the potential to not play poorly then the possibility exists that they get pass the Chiefs.
      Who do we think is more likely to pass a test? A person goes to take a test and didn’t study and failed then takes it again after studying and fails again or the person who didn’t study and failed? The latter still has the potential to study and pass which seems more likely than the other just taking it over and over until they pass.

      @@billywilliams8378 What a stupid analogy. Allen has lost two games against the Chiefs because something on the Bills not including what he was responsible for, couldn’t perform up to the standard. Here’s a far better one. What’s more likely, failing a class a third time where you have to repeat a group project that no one helped you with the last two times and you excelled at, or failing a class a second time where you had all the help necessary for the group project the first go around, but you didn’t contribute to? The Bills shortcomings are defense and special teams in two of their losses against KC, something that can be improved on with personnel change. The Ravens shortcomings are Lamar Jackson which is personnel that can’t be changed.

    • @billywilliams8378
      @billywilliams8378 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@skinnymelo It’s the same analogy with the same outcome. Regardless of what Allen does his team failed him. If he played well or in the analogy he did well on his part it didn’t matter as there were failing on other team members. This has happened three times. Three times not twice.
      Jackson has played him once and played poorly. If you want to use the group project analogy then which is more likely: The one where one person does as much as they can and the other 5 people don’t do much or 5 people doing as much as they can and they need the one person to do more?
      Like I said before unless u think Jackson can’t play well in a playoff game Jackson has a better shot because one person playing better is easier to achieve than the rest of the bills team excluding Allen needing to play better.

    This is one of those weird situations where consistency is not a good thing. The Ravens are set up to be the Indianapolis Colts of the 2000s; they will just get better & more stable every season, bur still won't be able to succeed in the playoffs (maaaaaybe in an off-year for the league, they might win a Super Bowl; most likely though, nothing will happen). Essentially, they're going to get locked into that mold, and be too good to warrant reconstructing for championship success (instead, they'll just keep trying to tweak what they got). Buffalo though us interesting; they are the less stable team, but they also are going to be more willing to be more flexible & make 1 or 2 larger changes, that will poise them to be championship caliber at some point; weirdly, their instability makes them more poised for long term success.
