you're literally a worlds level player my guy...300 is a steal for 3 hours of your time, also us on youtube really appreciate the more consistent uploads :0
lmao, no way an ex pro is thinking $100 per hour is expensive for his time. Crazy. Honestly increase prices if you feel comfortable. Uploading the vods is already more than generous.
Its not greedy at all. You are 100% right to require compensation for your work. It was really mature how you were able to articulate "if i coach for free, I will start getting impatient". You know the effect that it will have on you, and you stsnd your ground and dont give in to social pressure because you know what it takes to be at your best and you aren't sacrificing that just to avoid some criticism. The worst thing people can do is under value themselves or their work. That is the best recipe for bitterness, and bitterness is just about the most destructive feeling you can have. The quality of your work suffers, your attitude suffers, theres just no way around it.
You’re a former pro player who has proven himself countless times on the stage. This ain’t the same as the neace situation, you’re skills are valued at whatever price point you set . You’ve put in the work Bwipo, people should pay to learn from one of the best in the profession.
Been waiting and saying for years I can’t wait for you to step into a coaching role. Players like you becoming coaches is what’ll actually develop players and move the next gen’s gameplay forward
1:05:00 I see a lot of challenger players not leaving one enemy minion alive for 3x more tower dmg. It's basically that rune "grants more tower damage". In this case the tower was destroyed anyway, but it doesn't matter, this cheattrick gives you at least more time off to roam, invade, do vision control, etc
You are prob one of the most knowledged english speaking player in the world atm, besides being a wonderful being people would already pay money for to spent time with. The price ofcourse from a humble person's view sounds a bit expensive, but in reality its actually a very generous offer for what you provide as a person/coach. + if its to low you'll just be flooded with coaching requests leading to potential burnouts or long queuetimes for people (which isnt something we'd want for you either) And for all the people who aren't fortunate enough to be able to afford the coaching, they still get amazing coaching sessions like these for free on youtube. You are a blessing to everyone in the league community and we are more than lucky to have you here, keep up the great work!
It's supply and demand, which is a very weird thing for league coaching right now. Basically no matter what you charge, as long as it's equal to or less than what neace charges, you're in the clear at the very minimum. I've listened to and watched your videos over many roles in league now and you're an amazing coach. You're an amazing player and I think coach. No one should ever complain that you get what you deserve. I wish you the best.
Honestly I had no idea that some of your previous coaching sessions were free. To me, $200 sounds like a no brainer, if I was a Master+ focused on improving I would consider coaching from Bwipo at that price a steal, especially when people like Neace charge $350 for sub-1h session without prep.
Yeah man, i learned a lot from this review, thanks for uploading this, id love to see more content like this . Upvote this post if you agree so Bwipo can get an idea on the demand/interest in this content.
I think for a video series do some coaching series stuff i think that would be a good lil series for you , coaching bronze to masters and then having them set on your playlist just an idea @Bwipo
You most definitely deserved to get compensated for your work. I am a working top lane boomer, but would definitely pay $200 (which is definitely a steal), if I wanted to get coached by someone legit.
Like many other comments said $300/3h or $100/h is veryyyy cheap considering your level of expertise and reputation, not only as a very accomplished player but also one with tons of game knowledge AND the ability to explain it well. I wouldve expected 10x th cost from someone like your calibre tbh.
Bwipo is out here in the introduction trying to justify himself, but the only reason ppl are watching the youtube videos is because Bwipo has already proven he is worth the money. We are here because we already recognize the value.. This is a bargain. The insight, and the care to detail... that is already proven. So stop trying to justify it. We are here because we already know it is worth the money. Us TH-cam monkeys are watching this introduction thinking "We are getting a freebee lesson that is worth paying for, and this guy is trying to justify why he charges for it!?!"
You are an expert, and as you said your time have value, so yeah you should get paid. Also I don't know if you've seen it, but Gaethan said he could have paid 3 times the amount you asked and it still would have been worth it so
Nothing is free 1st off. 300$ is a high price for just 1hour but it weeds out the fakes that will waste your time. I definitely have a lot of respect for your work. Pulling out double Crit cloak in Pro play on GP was 🔥 Solarbacca Tech ! Which I freakin loved to see creative ways to spice up pro meta! Glad to see you coaching & producing content 🤙🏻🤠
Nevermind the time you invest in the present on coaching, you invested the most time in your life already on League so it only makes sense that the value you offer now is proportional to that. You're an expert in your field, so providing this content for free would devaluate it. I'de rather have you as a benchmark for coaching pricing than Neace.
crazy how he feels like he has to explain why he would rather get paid for coaching instead of doing it for free. If you’re sitting down and spending hours of your day explaining to someone how to play the game, you definitely need to be getting paid for all that time spent lol. Neace was charging people 450 per game lol
I appreicate free coaching. Look at Woohoojin from Val. Stand up guy who does amazing coaching and he has a really big dedicated following due to his vibe. But Id be totallly fine if he asked for money. Free coaching is amazing but ppl need to live, and also your time is worth something. Even just uploading sessions is huge. for example Coach Eragon is a great coach but he rarely uploads any free content (Id love to support him but when ur on limited income its not always possible) I think doing what is right for u is important. :D dont even feel bad for asking for money, value ur own time and do what u have passion for.
"Not everyone has $200 to throw away." (Said in a high-pitched, weasely voice) "Yeah, but plenty of people do," What a chad response. I can't think of a better answer to that kind of weak, whiney, pathetic comment. Imagine complaining about someone charging for their expertise and time, while at the exact moment that you are whining, you are literally also getting to watch and learn what they are teaching for free.

This was absolutely fascinating to listen to. Just seeing/hearing how quickly a pro can break down the entire game state in any given frame is wild.

Yeah spitting straight facts about Sion, only argument I have is that Evenshroud/Locket is debatable instead of Heartsteel in a lot of games
