You also do your hair and makeup which takes time. A lot of women just roll out of bed and leave their appearance to the last in order to get more sleep. I have noticed this since working from home the last two years. Some people who used to make an effort in the office have given it up because they are on Zoom or Teams. I still get ready because I just don't feel comfortable with an unpolished appearance.

I remember one time when I was in South Florida at a sushi restaurant I had to ask a lady what she was wearing because it smelled intoxicating. That was the actually word I used when I asked her “You smell intoxicating”. She was wearing Jimmy Choo Exotic. Unfortunately the fragrance didn’t work for me when I got it for myself because of the black currant and grapefruit top notes. I gave it to my cousins daughter along with strawberry body butter from the body shop and she smelled intoxicating with the combination.

It gives them such a juicy burst of fruity freshness! 🤩 I never thought that black current would be a note that didn't work for some. But it's possible. 😊 Is it possible that it was another note in the perfume that didn't work? But I'm definitely tempted to try Jimmy Choo Exotic after hearing how intoxicating it smelled on that woman at the sushi restaurant. 😊

So I have noticed more and more I don’t care for fragrances that have black currant at all. For instance I had Mancera Black Vanilla which I recently decluttered because when I bought it last year I loved it, this year I notice the black currant and I’m just not in love anymore. I guess my nose it becoming more trained to what I like and dislike.

Do you think that Psychedelic Love has as much of an almond smell as Italica? I am interested in purchasing the fragrance but not if it smells like a straight creamy almond scent. I have seen others on TH-cam compare it to Parfums de Marly Pegasus which is almond dominant.
I don't think that Psychedelic Love smells like an almond-dominant scents at all. It smells more like myrrh to me. Almond is just there in the background very faintly. 😊 It smells more balsamic from the myrrh. 😊 You can also smell the gorgeous florals like ylang ylang. 😊 It's also quite powdery.

Mon Parfum Crystal has that gorgeous rose-vanilla combo with the toffee and Mon Parfum has caramel with passion fruit, white florals and patchouli among other notes. If you don't like patchouli, the decision is easy and you can just go with Mon Parfum Cristal. 😊 I love them both but I think I love Cristal a tiny bit more. 😊
Good idea. Please talk about hidden gems, but try to avoid the Sarah Myers path of getting stuff nobody talks about for a good reason and and taking everyone's time to watch reviews and then declutters of products which were always nothing but clutter;)
I agree Ladymoonlight. 😊 Hidden gems are what I'm after and as you have noticed, I have not had to declutter any of my perfumes because I do my research and buy the best. That's not to say I don't get a dud every now and then but that's rare. I also review fragrances of which everyone wants to see reviews, mostly new releases and some of them turn out to be less than satisfactory and I let everyone know my 100% honest opinion as always. 😊 For example, I didn't think the new Kayali fragrance is worth the price and I said that in my review. 😊

But at the end of the year I think we've all realised that we've got the same perfumes in our stashes.
